Also on an aside. Your current sliders are looking very close to what I’ve been testing myself. I think it’s going to be really easy to get things dialed in this year. Game is very polished OOTB.
That is a good point and a good idea. I never considered doing a dynamic hook. Also, raising it even more maybe to 7-8 for the playoffs.

It does show how good this game is when all 3 of us slider guys that use these settings are very similar and close.

Just FYI I think you shared your sheet wrong. You need to click the share button on sheets and copy the link for viewing and paste it.

Right now, people cannot see it unless each person requests access individually which you have to manually approve.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong.

The biggest thing I have noticed this year is that ground balls in the infield are like lightning. If your guy isn't there like he is supposed to be he is not going to make the play.

You have to make sure you are ready when every ground ball is hit.

I am not sure how many people on this thread use manual fielding but if you do I am sure you have noticed that fielding is definitely different than last year.

Using auto fielding myself but still see this and I love it.

The days of getting by with a 50 fielding SS are no more. If you have a SS with 50 fielding he better hit 30+ homers a year.

                Re: S & B's MLB 2025 Simulation Sliders

Yeah, we have noticed that as well. It is nice. We did raise reaction to 5 since we do not need it lowered. But it is something we can keep an eye on as we get more games under our belt.

The sound of the bat is just awesome.

If you guys see anything that is out of whack or something that doesn't feel right, don't hesitate to let us know. We have tested a lot of different settings and there is a reason for each slider setting.

                  Just curious

Do you use these for your games as well as the simulated games around the league or are simulated games even effected with sliders?

These are just for games that are played. When you simulate a game, the only sliders that matter are the CPU SP and RP Stamina, Hook, and Simulated injuries.

We haven’t looked at injuries but we just went with what we have always used before.

I will get a lot of games in this week and let you know if I find anything weird at all. So glad that they seemingly fixed the complete game issues.

I'm enjoying using manual fielding. It's actually not difficult at all if you turn on the auto dive and jump stuff. I did however let a pop up drop in front of Carlos Santana last night lol. Other than that I've surprisingly been doing well.

What has changed from your perspective? I've never really done manual before.

Lower rated infielders are no longer assured of making good plays.

Vientos is just a average fielding 3B if I am not mistaken.
He keeps letting balls get by him that in previous games he would have made a play on or at least made a good attempt.

Lower rated fielders now have now have their skills minimized from previous games.

But that is my perspective from always using manual. Perhaps he can tell you something different.

A hard hit ground ball is now fair game for ANYTHING to happen.

I notice at least 2 hbp per game by cpu and at ridiculous times too not sure what can really fix that other then that plays great !
