That is tough because contact at 10 is not going to help you get more strikeouts. You could try to put contact at 9 or lower timing.

Try this first. Try lowering control to like 3 and see if they will start to chase.

HUM Pitch Control to 3? Won't that just make my pitches outside have a chance of drifting back over the plate?

In some weird way, it works the opposite for me. They seem to chase more when I lower control. Try that and see if you see a difference.

Still having trouble getting more than 5 Ks per game no matter who my starting pitcher is. Can people maybe post some of the strategies they use to put away the CPU when they get them down in the count? (Pitch Selection, Location, how long they press the button etc). I'm getting spoiled because IRL the Phillies have Wheeler and Luzardo striking out everyone under the sun and I can't get even close to their K rate in the game.
I feel like these settings are closer to matching real life. Don't give up on them just yet!!! CPU is harder to strike out, but the strikeouts will come if you're pitching with guys with high K ratings. I've had some good pitching games as well as bad ones using these. I had to learn how
          to pitch more carefully.

Yes I really do like the direction we're going. My only complaint is how difficult it is to put hitters away sometimes. I don't have too much of a problem getting to 2 strikes, it's that final pitch for a k or weak contact that eludes me sometimes. I'm having a great litmus test against the Phillies. I have one more game to go and I'll post my results and thoughts. Theyve been a handful, but I'm hanging in there lol

I am really liking 10/4/5/5/4 right now and I am platying on hall of fame with meter pitching. Last year I was playing on legend and I lead the league in strikeouts and was very easy to get the cpu to o chase.
with these I might get 3ks with one game and then 9 the next. But it does require placement and mixing things up. Very realistic. I thru against Bobby Witt jr and struck him out the next at bat I missed my spot and he hit a double
              each game is so different

I'm trying to look at it from 2 aspects. 1) I'm hard to K. I don't fall for sliders away when I have 2 strikes. And I use contact swing when behind in the count to foul off tough pitches. I work the count and drive up the cpu pitch count. So I want that to happen against me also. Otherwise, it's not very fun. I don't want 10 K's per game from mediocre pitchers on my staff.

                  2) What are the K ratings of the guys I'm using? If it's not high, then it should be hard to get K's.

HUM Control at 3 didn't seem to make any difference. At 10/5/5/5/4 Christopher Sanchez final line was 6 IP 2 H 0 R 0 ER 3 BB 2 K. CPU seemed to hit anything remotely close to the zone for a ground out and still became super hitters when they were in 2 strike counts. For reference IRL Christopher Sanchez last 5 game strikeout totals were 5, 6, 7, 8 and 5.

Now I just struck out the side with Orion Kerkering so what do I know. Maybe it has more to do with Christoper Sanchez's attributes.

I haven't touched the human control slider, so I can't speak on that.

I just shut out the yanks with this slider update. So the more games you play maybe the settings start to settle down a bit.

I have definitely noticed that on every slider update. It is just weird. Hopefully that is not a start of something.

With the new sliders can we still use the Coach Mod's Modifier? I really like this feature as it makes every game unique sometimes in favor of the CPU, hum, both or neither.

Damn that's crazy. The Phillies touched me up pretty good. 4,6, and 11 runs. Lots of hrs. I was able to get a game though as my offense is doing okay. I think I'm going to play at 9 contact for week of games if things don't settle after my reds series. The Phillies have a bunch of high contact, power and vision guys, but it was frustrating at times. The pci size is very noticable when noticing how far wide out of the zone they can foul certain pitches off. On a few I was like, is that even physically possible lol
