So far that's what I was seeing. It's not like you can't work through a game and get the win, but you can't get away with nearly as much. And you'll have innings where if you're not careful, the game can get away from you quickly. But again its small sample size so we'll see.

3rd game they had 7 hits with 2 HR. So it was nice to see. Before, the CPU would get about half their hits in one inning it seemed. Now it is more normal and spread out.

I just realized I'm using the 10/5/5/5/4 but I'm on legend pitching not HOF.


I'm not even sure it matters that much but I'll change mine to HOF.

I’m using CPU hook at 0 and SP stamina at 7. When they go to the bullpen I raise hook at 5.

Played the first game of the series against the Giants and they beat me 10-1. They had 13 hits with 3 HR and 4 doubles. This was on 10/5/5/5/4.

I have been trying to follow this thread best I can considering the switchover and all that goodness, and while it's still a bit slow for me (laptop) it's getting there I suppose.

Anyhow, having not played the game in a while I was reading about these changes in regards to the CPU hitting, and damnit anyway if my curiosity didn't get me again...lol
I put the new sliders in for the CPU and took my Dodgers to the big apple to face the Mets, and yes I get the whole "sample size" stuff, but IF games continue to play out the way my game went (Dodgers won 5-3) I will be thrilled all to hell...😁

I currently am running a "Frankenstein" set of sliders mixed with these new CPU hitting sliders, and everything fell perfectly into place, I guess if I had MAYbe an early concern, the Mets pulled their starter start of the 5th, now his pitch count was starting to creep up there, but at that time the game was currently tied 3-3, Soto sent one deep into the NY sky to even things up. so maybe something to keep an eye on?

But lastly, I will say the appeal that I got from these sliders was that at any point the Mets could've busted it open, most every pitch I felt uneasy thinking oh crap, I just hung one..like with Soto..😂 I think that's what the game was missing, was that unpredictability..hell I was only able to get 3 strikeouts while the Mets struck me out 7 times, each team had a pair of walks as well.

Definitely looking forward to playing more games, great job on these adjustments 👍

Thanks Bryan, yeah I was on HOF and using the 10,5,5,5,4 sliders for the CPU.
Damn, you got rocked...😂 and like I was saying the game seems to be unpredictable now, in the 7th and a 4 hit shutout? especially after getting knocked around the park prior? definitely great to see that.

I am still using meter pitching with control and consistency at 4 as well, works out awesome IMO.

This is stuff I like to read. Getting rocked, pitching a shutout....This is how it was before. Feeling threatened by the CPU offense completely takes the game to a new enjoyment level. That's how it is in the real game we watch on TV. Anything can happen. I Love it. About to have myself a session.

The CPU pitching I am using default. The global sliders are the same. Right now, I’m using 6/4/5/5/4 for hitting. But some have found that hitting is too easy and lowered contact to 5. So that is up to you.
