CPU Strike Frequency: 4

We are still on HOF pitching correct? No chance I’m going to legend lol

Yes, I’m still using those settings. Testing a few things for HOF pitching. Trying CPU solid hits at 5.

You know, I think that a reason is that I'm playing against teams that are starting players with about 1/3rd of their energy. It's not quite yellow yet, but it seems to cause a lesser performance in the field and at the plate. I'm gonna tend to favor more offense in general.

Also, what hitting and pitching interface do you guys use? Hitting- zone or timing or classic? Pitching- Classic? Pinpoint?

Just want to have the best game play. Currently playing out this first year of my Pirates franchise. Just got done with the 2025 player draft and nailed my 1st round pick with a 99 potential 18 year old LF.

I really want to put the settings in for the next season. I just ran into SportsGaming Rosters and have the fidelity roster.

Hey! Welcome to the thread. The OP is what I am using with HoF hitting and pitching. Most of us are using Classic and Timing but some use Meter pitching with these.

Im getting better ABs from the CPU on HoF with 7 contact. Still getting good Ks as well. More bloop singles and straight liners. I'm gonna pursue this.

I'm a firm believer that raising all the CPU hitting sliders way up makes more of a difference than raising the difficulty.

But it is weird. Cause if you lower User Control, they get worse.

Yeah true, because if you pitch with a guy who has bad control, you can have success by not aiming and just throwing and having no idea where it's going.. Almost as if the user control is tied to the CPU hitting success or lack of.

The only way it seems for me to have any sort of walks against me, is not user control as much as its fear of pitching in the strike zone because the CPU sliders are turned up high.

I will work on this and will see how it feels. As long as we see enough singles it should work fine.
