S & B's MLB 2025 Simulation Sliders

I feel like pitching is getting a little easier for me: I've given up the fewest runs in the league, as well as the fewest amount of walks. I'm thinking of moving the pitching difficulty to legendary, but I'm afraid it will mess with the sliders.

A couple of people have had good results and I'm testing it too is Legend Pitching with 5/5/5/4/5 with control and consistency at 5. I have played two games against the Yankees who came in with probably the hottest offense in baseball the past 10 games according to the pregame story lines. I am the Dodgers and pitched with Snell and Glasnow. Won the first game 3-0 they had 6 hits (1 double). The 2nd game I won 13-2 and they had 6 hits (1 HR and 1 2B). I know it is only 2 games so at least I wasn't getting killed on legend but also didn't feel much different then our HOF sliders in the OP. I'll play more games with them.

I'll try that, thanks. It's funny because in my current game (still on Hall of Fame) I'm losing 3-1 in the third and my starter is already nearing 60 pitches. I knew I shouldn't have made a post about it!

Hook at 5 for simmed games should be good. I'll double check what I have been using tonight and update the OP.

I know that we are all here to get the game as perfect as possible (in our perception) and I don't want to take over the thread... but I am testing out a Legend/Legend slider set now that you guys are finding out about Legend pitching. I am teetering on a couple ticks up and down because I don't have the most time to play right now. I was just getting too many 10+ hit games and not really struggling enough.

I give up a good amount myself on 5, but it's because of meatballs thrown over the middle. Definitely need power at 5 for the xbh and threat. Lower fielder Run speed helps that for both sides too, but that's a different discussion lol. I've considered moving human consistency to 6 to limit those.

This could just be a small sample size thing, but is anyone else noticing a lack of Home Runs by the user team when using Quick Manage? Especially non-power hitters. I just Quick Managed about a weeks worth of games and I only hit Home Runs at all in 2 of the games and it was with Kyle Schwarber, Bryce Harper and Trea Turner. No home runs at all by anyone else. No one on my team is currently in a cold spell. Just sharing an observation to see if anyone else is noticing the same. I know it's perfectly normal to go a week like that in the MLB but the lack of power just seemed odd.

I typically play one and quick manage the other games every series. So far this season, I've played 16 games and Quick Managed 25. In the 16 played games (with the Mariners fwiw), I have 17 HR (1.06 per game), and in the 25 simmed I have 32 (1.28 per game).

Just move foul frequency to 4 first. I started at 3 foul frequency, but they hit too many rockets. You should be able to tell the difference.

Already have fouls at 4. I think I’m just going to keep their power at 4, solid hits at 3 for now. They still get their homers and a fair amount of extra base hits, plus the game less frustrating lol.

Getting pretty good results with CPU contact at 4, solid hits at 3 and power at 5. Feels like better separation between the really good hitters and the guys hitting .210, but with power at 5 I’ll still give up the occasional homers to the 8 and 9 hitters.

Just a bit curious, are you using HOF hitting with Legend pitching? or are you using Legend hitting as well with Bryans HOF hum hitting sliders...damn I hope that made sense...lol
