    🤣 gotcha...
People are for reviews if it backs their argument, and against them when they don't.

The best thing I've seen with legend pitching, so far, is the varying levels of control my pitchers have. Obviously I'm not trying to walk batters, but walks happen mostly due to 1) lack of pitcher control or 2) being afraid to pitch in the strike zone. So HOF pitching I think doesn't give me that. Legend so far has been better in that area.

I’ve walked more batters in the short time I’ve used legend pitching than I have the entire time I’ve had the game. In a game I played yesterday I walked 3 in one inning which I don’t think I’ve ever done before.

Yeah, same. But I can still have great games too. But the bad pitchers struggle. The good pitchers have good games, but it also can go off the rails quickly if I don't pitch smart and get him out when he starts to struggle.

            What settings are you using?

I tried Legend with the Dodgers and just had a series with the Yankees. They came into this series being hot offensively. I was using Control and Consistency at 5 and 5/5/5/4/4.

            Game 1
            NYY 0 6 0 (3 BB, 8 K) 1 2B
            LAD 3 8 0

            Game 2
            NYY 1 6 0 (3 BB 13 K) 1 HR, 1 2B
            LAD 13 14 0

            Game 3
            NYY 2 5 0 (4 BB 5 K) 3 2B
            LAD 3 7 0

Maybe it was just good pitching shutting down their offense. I play a 4 game series against the Mets next, so I'll see how that goes. But they really didn't sustain any rallies all series. Their runs scored on a solo HR in the 2nd game and a double, walk, and 2 RBI double the 3rd game.

4 foul frequency and 4 solid hits? That's what I'm using as well. Believe me, you will get lit up eventually. You can make it harder by lowering foul frequency to 3, but beware lol

WOW well there goes my theory LOL. I don't remember my exact slider settings since I'm not at home but I think I was using what HScratch had set up for legend pitching.

My last few games have been against the weak hitting Pirates and I was able to hold them to very few runs over the 3 game series, although I did have a 2-1 10 inning loss in game 2.

For some reason I'm having better results pitching on Hall of Fame. Just pulled Pablo Lopez after 5 innings, 104 pitches, four walks but six strikeouts and an earned run. Part of it could be user input, playing while watching my son. Or the game is really balancing itself out because it realized the Twins pitching staff isn't as good as my early season results have shown.

I mean I know it is only 3 games and it was a very small sample size but the Yankees should have at least one good offensive game and should have scored more than 3 runs in the 3 games.

I’ve raised CPU contact back to 5. They’re just too inept offensively if user control is higher than their contact. Using the contact/power/solid hits format I’m going to try 5/4/3 for a few games and see how it goes.

I never was, that was a mistake on my part. I didn’t even realize I typed 6 until now 😞
