I'm not going to even pretend like I know what the process of moving posts from an old forum to a new one yes, but it's weird that the old ones would import before the new ones.

Anyway, new forum, same problem. Can't strike out the CPU! lol.

I tried Armors sliders just to see. I was having better lucking striking out the CPU so I'm not sure what the difference is. I found his hitting a little too easy so I'm trying to kind of hybrid the 2 sets together.

I believe lowering user to 3 was to cut down on home runs.

Sorry. We have been testing 3 and it seems to work well. Then with the new board we didn't get a chance to talk about it. If 4 is working for you, you can stick with 4.

The only difference between our set and his is the control and consistency at 4 and our timing at 6. He has foul at 3 and I have been going in between 0-3.

It might be the difference of the pitcher control and consistency. You can even try CPU timing at 4.

Was it Brewcrew who made the legend level pitching suggestions?

App is finally up for me on tapatalk. Yeah I use legend with 5/5 for human pitching. Then I just lowered CPU solid hits and foul frequency to 4. It's the same as Rmioks set except the lower solid hits.

Tried a modified legend version for my last few games. What a difference!! Takes pitching to a whole new level, but not in a way that feels skewed in favor of the CPU. You can really feel the difference between your 4th and 5th starters and your ace.

I’m doing that too. But have to set HUM control + consistency to 5 and aim corners. On Legend, even with both at 5 you’ll give a bunch of walks.

I’m totally fine with that. My #4 starter’s top pitch is a screwball and in his last start I could not throw that for a strike to save my life. I believe his strike % for that pitch was 41%. Had to resort to his 2-seamer just to avoid walking everyone except the bullpen catcher and he got roughed up. Had to pull him with 73 pitches in the 3rd inning.

So you guys trying the 5/5/5/4/4 on legend? We can start testing that and have a HOF and Legend set.

Is the OP up to date? Because there’s quite a few changes from the last version?

Yes, it is. We might try a Legend pitching set since some people are getting better results. Stay tuned.

I moved over to legend pitching as well a couple weeks ago.

Here are the sliders I’m using for legend pitching:

                            Human Control: 5
                            Human Consistency: 5
                            CPU Contact: 5
                            CPU Power: 4
                            CPU Timing: 5
                            CPU Foul: 3
                            CPU Solid: 3

Bottom of the rotation starters and lower rated relievers are a struggle which is how it should be and I really need to find the right release point for certain pitches, especially those with a lot of movement like sliders and curveballs.

I've been using 4/4 for CPU solid hits and foul frequency. I have not tried 3/3, but I'm not really getting roughed up too bad. I have power at 5 for CPU too though. Idk it's preference for me until I get cold pitching and run into some sluggers.

As far hitting goes are you also at 4. I couldn’t remember if you were using these sliders or something different
