It is pretty much your preference. Some like how it feels at 0 and some like it at 3. I haven’t had much testing at 3. But some people have and said it is better for them.

Always grateful for your work on sliders. Thank you
I personally use zone hitting and meter pitching. Two questions

      1. Are you planning any updates yet or pretty satisfied with everything
      2. Last year I needed up going to legend pitching for more cpu offense. Not sure if Meyer pitching had anything to do with it or not. Just worked well for me.
I have only played a few exhibition games this year so hard to tell but are you seeing good offense by cpu this year with your current sliders on HOF.

      Thanks

I think we are pretty locked in where we are right now. Just as I was worried that the CPU is getting weak the ARZ gets me for 11 hits and 9 runs to beat me 9-8 in 10 innings.

Definate trying these tonight. Playing on HOF right now with an Angels franchise and Im 13-4. Thought HOF would be to hard but my pitching is way to good

I got distracted because I got consumed by simming different seasons. I never really messed with that before and I started working on that. But now I am back to my franchise.

Simming can get very addictive. That is why I wasn't posting. I gotta catch back up to the real life Mets.

You can see that the damn CPU got more hits than me.

              Hey fellas!

Any changes needed to the below?

HUM RP Stamina: 6 (+1) 5 is fine for live roster

CPU SP Stamina: 6 (Sim at 5)
CPU RP Stamina: 6 (Sim at 5)
CPU Hook: 6 (April and May)
              CPU Hook: 5 (June-September)

Manager hook might be the only thing. Its kind
of determined that CPU stamina sliders for starters don't do much, if anything. I have fielding sliders I've developed and love so much. I'll post a separate thread later for anyone interested.

I am testing hook at 1 and the SP is pitching longer. Stamina doesn't seem to change anything this year.

I’ve always wondered, in regard to the fire and snowflake symbols next to players who are playing well or bad lately … do they have any added (under the hood) effect on the player or is it simply symbolizing their recent form?

The only way I've found to get CPU pitchers pitching longer is day of game up their stamina to 99 and to up the CPU SP Stamina to 7. They still pull them if they aren't pitching well. Corbin Burnes pitched into the 9th inning on me and they pulled him after a hit (he'd only given up 1). Likewise I lit up Tarik Skubal and they pulled him after 4. It seems they are coded to remove the SP now when they hit around 75% of their energy usage. I've had manager hook at 0 and they still remove them early.
if it wasn't for the gutter my mind would be homeless...

I don't know exactly what all under the hood happens, but yes there are are effects placed on the player. The biggest one I notice is their PCI (even though invisible) is whiffing a hittable pitch on good timing. This year I noticed when you swing late or early with a hot hitter, the game will show the swing path meet the ball in that green area as if it was a good timing swings instead. Vice versa for cold streaks. Really no idea for pitchers. I know when he's cold lol location is more of a problem, but really have no clear answers for pitchers.

I have noticed this year that if a position player has the snowflake/cold symbol it can cause fielding errors too. So it seems to affect both offense and defense. I love it!!

One of my catchers has the snowflake and in back to back games air mailed the ball into left field trying to throw out a runner going to 3rd on a wild pitch.

It’s damn awesome that a cold streak affects all aspects of the players game. As it should…how many times do we see players trying to do to much to get out of their funks only to make it worse.

Had to lower CPU contact to 5, through 10 games i was last in the league with 106 hits allowed (10.6 per game!). Other than that, loving the challenge these sliders give.
