It's possible we're not considering hot and cold streaks as factors also. I'm scheduled to play NYY again today I'll report back.

Yeah it was difficult. They didn't really bite much around the edges early in counts and my guys were just a tad off. As long as my reds series is reasonable I'll stick with 10 contact, I think.

Right. I mean we don't want every game to feel identical. That's really not how the MLB works. We just want it to feel like its hard to win a lot of games unless you have an all star team roster.

Pitcher confidence plays a HUGE roll in strikeouts it seems. However, the best way to raise pitcher confidence is by strikeouts. So it feels like kind of a Catch 22. Christopher Sanchez , in my previously mentioned game, had his confidence meter only half full despite pitching 6 shutout innings.

True, and also confidence plays a role in the ability to locate pitches.

Just tossed a 2 hit shutout against the reds. Both hits by Cruz. A triple and infield single. 2 walks. Struck out 7. I'm consistently between 6 to 9 ks per game total. I'm fine with it as long as it's necessary.

Im currently down 1-0 to the Yanks in the 6th inning. They have 4 hits and 1 walk. Had to pause the game for work for a bit.

Like I wonder if this series for you will boost the pitcher’s confidence and you will have a good stretch of games with the pitchers doing good.

I really think there is that element to the game that we "players" forget and go right for the sliders too quickly, instead of letting it all play out. I'm really planning on sticking with this setup for awhile. But i've been wrong before......lol

I think the issue is we see about 5-10 games in a row where the CPU gets about 5-7 hits a game and it becomes frustrating. But I think we change the sliders before they get out of that funk.

Yeah, these will work with the Coach Mod Sliders. If you get a +1 CPU Contact card you can pick another card.

Game update, final score was a 4-2 loss. My staff ended up giving up 11 hits and 2 walks. It would have been 5-2 but Judge was thrown out.

After playing my Red Sox, Phillies and Pirates series is say I'm pretty comfortable with 10 contact as well. I mean a 2 hit shutout after getting knocked around a bit. A few "normal" games mixed in as well. It doesn't look perfect sometimes, but now I'm having fun. Btw in that shutout, they hit some screamers right at me and a couple times I held my breath because I thought they hit one out. It was not a boring shutout by any means.

Yes curious if everyone is at 10/4/5/5/5, 10/5/5/5/5 or 10/4/5/5/4
