I think the 10/5/5/5/5 will be the best. I think you will have a crazy 1st and 2nd game, but it will settle in. I think if you need to lower something, lower contact to 9. I think power and solid hits need to be at 5.

Still a small-ish sample size but it seems good. Even in the games where I pitched well, it didn't feel easy.

Yeah I agree. It's really hard to say this year because sooo many variables are at play deep into the season. It's frustrating, but I'm still playing every pitch and enjoying it and taking everything with a grain of salt.

So I hit just a HR with Jake Bauer's that left Great American ballpark. I'll never hit one like that again. Idk how to post, but if on YT search "Bauers Goes Way Out", it'll pop up. That's with 5 contact, 4 power and 4 solid hits for user. My mind is blown lol. 455ft and 117 exit velo on a normal swing. Yikes!

I'm not going to keep posting the 10/5's game results, but this one, after a few games where I pitched very well, I lost quite an amazing shootout. I had this game won 8-7 until Bryce got me with a 2 run bomb in the top of the 9th. I tried to sneak a high fastball in after trying to induce a double play that didn't work, and he tattooed it.

My SP performances with 10 contact

                Castillo 6.2 5 H 1 ER 1BB 9 K
                Miller 5.2 6 H 2 ER 3 BB 3 K
                Gilbert 7.2 IP 2 H 1 ER 0 BB 12 K (no-no into 8th)
                Woo 5 IP 7 H 4 ER 0 BB 5 K
                Kirby 5 IP 10 H 7 ER 0 BB 6 K
                Castillo 9 IP 3 H 0 ER 0 BB 10 K
                Miller 5 IP 7 H 1 ER 1 BB 5 K
                Gilbert 6 IP 7 H 1 ER 4 BB 5 K

Overall its been fun, PIT/NYY/DET were the teams faced. Only thing I've changed is going down to 3 for solid hits on both user and CPU. I was seeing way too much 100+ MPH exit velocity contact

I would have left solid hits at 5 if I were you, but to each their own. I'm still at 10/5/5/5/5 and its been just the right amount of challenge.

As long as you are having fun that is all that matters. Do you know how many HR you gave up?

I'll go back and check in a bit. I moved down the solid hits about half way through the stretch I played. I'm still seeing enough HR's for me since I made the switch but getting less 100+MPH lineouts and more bloopers.

Last game was a blast, 1-1 into the bottom of the 8th where Brash missed his spot and left one center cut for Tork to go yard and take the lead. Then top of 9th, down to last strike, Big Dumper pulled a 97 MPH on the inside corner to tie it up and Randy went back-to-back on a hanging slider and won 3-2.

How do you guys think using HOF pitching with contact at 10 compares to legend pitching with contact at 5?

I think the CPU is a lot more challenging with contact at 10 on HOF. I think I would compare legend at contact 5 with HOF contact 7.

I would agree i think the sliders have more of an effect than the level of difficulty when it comes to CPU hitting.

I was going to try HOF on 10 but I’ve been getting clobbered recently on legend 5. But I’m also using fictional rosters which could have something to do with that.

how many games have you played? with cpu contact at 10 and power at 5 on HOF, from my experience after the first batch of games, CPU hitting settles down a bit and is a really good experience after that.
