What is the best way to increase hitting difficulty without increasing difficulty above Hall of Fame? I’m 20 games into my Braves season and sitting at 16-4 with .313 team average, 52 HR (2nd highest team is at 30), and average 7 runs per game. Feel like 20 games is a big enough sample size to warrant a change. Using timing with most recent sliders - playing every pitch.

IMO....start with either increasing pitch speeds and/or change your hitting cam if you are using any of the strike zone ones.

Loving this set and this year's game! Anyone else seeing the wind bug? Go to pause menu the wind is one direction go back to game then back to menu it's a totally different direction. I've mention this elsewhere and being dismissed out of hand? Want to know which direction I can trust. Does this once every single game!

Might sound stupid (or look) but since I'm playing RTTS with these, I'm wondering what I could lower so that I don't hit .500 on AA with 50 to 60 ov players, while not hitting for .125 either and not having the "pop" to hit the perfect ones out of the park.

Any input would be appreciated, but anyhow, I'm having a blast with 25 so far and these sliders! :-)

Take your contact and power down to 4/4 till you make it to The Show. That should help.

It really is crazy how good the CPU pitchers are. Painting the black, mixing pitches, and then the nastiness on breaking balls. In previous versions I never really felt star pitchers were all that different from lesser ones in terms of how they’d fool me. This year I actually feel it. I just lost 1-0 on opening day and Sonny Gray struck me out I want to say 12 times ha. He only throws 92-93 but his sweeper and then mixing in his sinker killed me. He got taken out after 6 with like 69 pitches (btw I roll with 4 hook and go back to 5 when the bullpen comes in) so that was kind of annoying. I get the 3rd time around the order bit but I’m a traditionalist and knowing Sonny’s mindset when he was on the Twins, he is one of the few guys left who isn’t happy about pitching 4 or 5 great innings. He had a few heated moments with Baldelli due to the early trigger when he was cruising right along. He’s just one of those complete game mindset type guys.

I'm having a blast with these sliders, but I do have one concern. I just played the Rangers this morning, and de Grom went 4 IP, 0 R, 2 H, 0 BB, 3K and was taken out by the CPU before the beginning of the 5th in a 1-0 game after only 68 pitches. He has a 69 stamina, which isn't great but also not the worst I've seen from a SP. I'm considering raising CPU starter stamina to 6 because it's unrealistic to pull a stud SP this early.

Thoughts?

I’m fine with starter stamina where it’s all. Managers are pulling pitchers faster and faster each year. I also just want to enjoy the game this time instead on always having to do stuff like this before each game.

Can someone help me figure out the 30 team control? I have made two profiles and assigned all non-user teams to the profile with “auto” set for all options besides lineup. Under preset associations tab in options, it shows every non-user team set to this profile as well. Yet, I’m still tasked with a pop up for every injury (major leagues or minor) as well as every “team x” has an invalid lineup/rotation for every major league and minor league club. Obviously it’s not a HUGE deal but it can be annoying when simulating through each day. I thought non-user teams injuries + minor league lineup/rotation corrections would be auto managed? Or am I misunderstanding that?

You have to put those other teams on auto for those specific items.

How do you manually put a guy on the injured list or do you just put him in A. Trying to injure a Rule 5 guy

Saw nobody answered you and I use manual injuries sometimes. You have to go to settings and where you toggle Injuries to on, off, or manual.

Then go to the injuries list, toggle over with R1 until you get to the manual injury list…from there you should be able to figure it out.

That’s what I remember from the top of my head at least. Not infront of the game right now!

Seems spot on to me with stamina of 69. Today IRL they pulled him after 5 innings, 2 hits and 6 SOs and 73 pitches..maybe bump his stamina a bit if you want?
