Nice! Our little 3D player models got rudimentary skin tones with the latest update. The game has been integrated.Chicago Cubs | Chicago Bulls | Green Bay Packers | Michigan WolverinesComment

Re: ***The Official OOTP Thread***
Perhaps once they release the new game mode that is planned. Depends on when it's released.
Remember this is not a exhibition type game so roster updates aren't as necessary since they wouldn't apply to most users.

Not often. Probably see another one near All Star Break unless there is a major update that we don't know about.

Re: ***The Official OOTP Thread***
I would think they would fix the errors they have with the Opening day rosters, and to get the MILB teams Opening day lineups correct. However unlike MLBTS, OOTP keeps the Opening day rosters, all the way thru, as far as I know, which Im glad, as I never cared for the updated transactions like MLBTS does.
The more I play OOTP19, the more addicting it getsIts truly amazing how they are able to make such a deep game, and then be able to make it so realistic stats wise, and such. Now some of the trades, can be somewhat unrealistic, but not nearly as dumb as what you get with a console baseball game. As usually, you can make some sense, out of the trades that are made in OOTP, unlike what you get with console sports games.

Not to mention the different ways you can structure trades, give and take, etc.
And factors like something was flimsy as the GM literally not liking the player (completely opposite to his preferences, etc.), scouting information (what we see is not necessarily the real deal and that applies to both sides, etc).

Re: ***The Official OOTP Thread***
Had the Arizona GM approach me and say he sees I want a SP, does Robbie Ray interest me. Well, yes, he does, very much so. I go to talk with him, first asking what will make the deal work. He says nothing will. Huh, weird. I offer up some prospects that are really good, he says no way. I offer my top 3 prospects and ask what will make the deal work. He again says nothing will. I guess nothing will work, but I don't know why he approached me if that is the case.
Also, does anyone else read game recap after game recap even if it is the CPU's games? It creates so much immersion for me. Such a small thing that adds a tremendous value to the game in my eyes. All sports games should have game recaps written up at the least and really expand on features like that. I've had that happen, too. Sometimes I can break the ice with a top level player...but then I walk away lol.
Last time that happened, they wanted my 1st overall selected SP prospect. That was literally the only player that would even START talks (he wanted more, but at least I could use the "Make it work" button)."Some people call it butterflies, but to him, it probably feels like pterodactyls in his stomach." --Plesac in MLB18Comment

Um...Mr. Guyon...I think you have enough pitches...
I mean, do you really need 8 pitches? I mean really need them?

Re: ***The Official OOTP Thread***
Then over the years, we can suggest they work on their fourth pitch and so on.
And it would be cool if we could have an organizational philosophy to teach a particular pitch to every pitcher. Just one to make it simple. Like a cutter or sinker. Some pitchers would have the ability to add the pitch while others might struggle and never master it.
I know guys can learn pitches on their own but we need a little more control in this area the same way professional teams do.
