Re: ***The Official OOTP Thread***
Just got my code via e-mail, time to spend hours on this game.
If you haven't received an e-mail, here http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...d.php?t=286246
Downloading the game now!
Hopped right in and started a Yankees save. Wow. I LOVE the new scouting system.
Just finished my first game(opening day) and I also love the revamped gameplay.Last edited by notsobabybombers; 03-19-2018, 01:46 PM.Ravens----Yankees----Comic Book JunkieComment

The 3D animations are such a game changer for me. I'm going to waste too much time letting every game play out uninterrupted while I act as GM. Just fired up a game between the 1995 Braves and the 2010 Braves and watched it. It was great. '95 Braves won by a 2-1 score.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

The only player that should've been on both.

The 3D player models are definitely a game changer.
I'm no longer interested in a PS4 baseball game. That could change later but right now, I have everything I could want.
The animations look great and more will be added during the season. It's such a great step forward for the franchise.

Haha no, he actually struck out chasing a high fastball to end the game. Eric Hinske of all people doubled to bring in McCann for the lone run of the 2010 team. I forget how the 1995 team scored. I just remember Maddux pitching 7 innings and getting 7ks, 0 walks.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

We'll see.. I'm a huge flip flopper.
I used certs etc.. so got MVP edition pretty cheap..
Probably just throw on shelf until later..
Anyways downloading now...
Already have the settings (Ratings, scouting etc.. ) all written down.
I know I'm probably not doing the other leagues (World Baseball etc..)
It's all about what to start with first. 82 Yankees, Current Yankees, Current Braves or Current Orioles...
I'll decide while it's downloading and I'm eating supper.Last edited by Skyboxer; 03-19-2018, 06:51 PM.Joshua:

Re: ***The Official OOTP Thread***
When I bought the game two years ago I made the mistake of jumping into the deep end by trying to create a fully fictional league from scratch as my starting off point. I actually burnt myself out in the process.
I'll start with the real league this time, I want to make the Reds powerhouse again like when I was a kid. I want to create a hybridization of the Big Red Machine with a Nasty Boys type bullpen.Jordan Mychal Lemos
@crypticjordan
Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.Comment

I always wanted to create my own universe. And it's a lot of work.
I'm just going in with MLB quick start and going from there.

Re: ***The Official OOTP Thread***
Almost done setting up my 1985 (Went with 85 instead of 82) Yankees Franchise...
Settings and Player pics done. Now looking at stadiums...
Time killer but fun!
I'll add:
You can go absolutely bonkers in the editing to the point you'll never play lol..
So After I get everything set for my 85 Franchise and a Current Franchise I'm shutting down the edit part and will start playing...Last edited by Skyboxer; 03-19-2018, 09:40 PM.Joshua:

I am also doing a 1985 Yankees Franchise. The full monty GM/Manager
Donny needs some rings.
Funny I am still trying for him in Year 3 on The Show with the 1987 set from Myers/Jethrotull
Great times.
So I love the new 3D animations. Managing the games are so much more fun now!!!
Great stuff.
