I skipped on last years game, based on the bad reviews. But no matter what Im going to take the plunge this year from 6.5 to OOTP 2007. The league looks good and I havent been in an OOTP league in a few years, so I put myself on the waiting list. Now that work has calmed down and I'm moved into my condo I have more free time!Comment

Long time OOTP'r but after the disaster of 2006 I'm hesitant for 2007. Any impressions would be appreciated. What's the word on roster sets? Anyone interested in starting a new league? I can host if need be.Comment

Yeah I want to get my league up and running but idk where to start.
I am an assistant GM in a real world league though (www.soxxcountry.com) and when a slot opens up im applying. For now though I focus on my teams minor league system.badComment

i probably overstated the problem by using the word "killed" but it certainly made it shall i say less exciting, i like to hear the sounds of baseball in the background while i play a sim as it makes me feel like i'm more at the park, anyways my ? was "is there audio this year"
I'm with you on this, this game is prob great!, but without audio or some sort of animation, it is very boring to me. I tried the demo last year and was not impress at all. The 2005 version was a little better. Stat geeks love and just use the game to sim historical stats and on-line leagues and that what this game is for.
I look at spreadsheets all day at work, and this game to me is like work, no thanks, to each his own I guess! This is 2007, add some spice to the game already!..lol!
