Re: Any OOTP 2007 preview winners here?
After reading this thread and looking at some videos/screenshots on the Sports Interactive web site, I'm definitely interested in buying this game (and hopefully joining an online league).
In the past I've played Baseball Mogul, but I've heard nothing but great things about OOTPB, so I'm going to give it a shot on the 23rd.
Edit: It looks like I'll have to pre-order my copy before Wednesday night, in order to get the game a day earlier.Last edited by y2dan; 03-19-2007, 05:36 PM.Comment

Re: Any OOTP 2007 preview winners here?
when playing a single player season can you set it up so you only manage the big league team and have the cpu look after the minors for you or do you have to do it all, also do most online leagues use real mlb players or fantasy, thanks.Comment

Yeah, we should probably warn everyone that if you're looking to spend time on the BLB Board to get away from Diesel's crying and post whoring... you really won't see the difference.Listen to The Remodeling Clay Podcast!

Oops, I think I deleted your account so you'll need to register again. For some reason we get a lot of spammers that register so I just delete any accounts I don't recognize.Comment

Re: Any OOTP 2007 preview winners here?
Just a quick question though:
How easy is it to set up a league with a Lahman database in OOTP? One aspect of Mogul that I really enjoyed was the ability to just "pick and up"... eventually though, the luster of the game wore off as I discovered many bugs and loopholes within the game. OOTP seems to have a much bigger following, and the amount of community support seems great. The BLB seems like icing on the cake, if I can get in.Last edited by y2dan; 03-20-2007, 08:43 AM.Comment

As I'm sure you know, you can download the Lahman DB free from here: http://baseball1.com/statistics/Comment
