Has anyone had their game lock up on them? Mine has done it three times now. Once in Success Mode and twice in Season Mode. The disc looks fine and my other PS2 games work, so I don't know what the problem could be.

Moral: Save often. Even if it forces you to quit every time. This was on the PS3 (60 GB) btw.Comment

I've noticed that the Classic Controller button mapping isn't entirely complete. With the Nunchuck setup you press Z to climb the wall. There is no button to do this on the Classic Controller. I assume the Gamecube controller lacks this feature as well, but I wouldn't know.Comment

What else does the Z button do on the nunchuck setup?
There is a Z button the GC, but that doesn't necessarily mean they translate. Maybe if we knew other common tasks done with Z on the nunchuck we could figure it out w/ the GC controller.
I've never had occasion to climb a wall yet -- and a player has to have that ability to even be able to, correct?
The only thing that I can think of that the Z button does on the GC controller is switch between user controlled hits and automatic hits on Fielding Practice mode.Comment

Yes. This is also what the Z button does on the Nunchuck controller. So in theory they should be the same exact button, but they aren't when it comes to climbing the wall.Comment

Re: MLB Power Pros Gameplay Question Thread
I tried to check out the wall climbing using fielding practice but was not successful. However, this was before I realized that a player needed spider ability. I'll have to try it out again and use a wall climber.Comment

It doesn't seem very useful, honestly. Players can already jump every bit as high as wall climbing gets them (it seems).Comment
