For quick points, play through success and save on the final week. When the game ends don't save your character but save the 6000 pp you gain. Reload and repeat.

      ...Or so I've been told.

is it just me, but the cpu, on expert batting settings, seem very suspectable to backdoor sliders, curveballs etc.

they rarley seem to swing on em

Don't think that works, your Success Mode game is considered "done" after you reach the screen where you customize how they look in the other game modes, so your game save is deleted at that point. So if you don't save not only do you lose your game save, but your created player. I ran into this by accident because I wanted to replay my tournament final at the time, and ended up having to start over.

If you set them up for it they'll usually get fooled by them, but if you get predictable with how you use them after a couple of at-bats they should start punishing you for them by the 3rd time through the lineup.

I remember saving a Success mode near the end. I finished the next time I loaded it, but then when I started a new one, I had the option to load from my near-the-end save point of my previous Success Mode. It wouldn't make sense, and I didn't try it, but maybe worth a shot.

Anyone know if there is anyway possible in MY DATA when you are editing players, if there is a way you can replace a player below the line (from TRIPLE A) with a player from the regular roster?

I don;t think there is a way, but it would make my life 100 times easier editing rosters.

How do you make trades outside of season mode?

I've noticed a good way to get a reliever blown up is to bring in a guy with similar stuff to the starter and proceed to pitch the same way.

Anyone know if you get points for finishing season mode and how much?

Was thinking of just simming that and getting points.

I'm just trying to get points to buy the arrange feature, just to see if it lets you use ALL Arrange teams in season mode or just one.

It would make it 100 times easier that way to edit rosters the way I want them.

It takes like 5 minutes to just sim a week. Unless there is a faster way I'm missing but your looking at a few hours to sim a season.

I still have that auto switch problem occasionally, but I think it's easier to field with the Classic fielding camera.

And for the people who are getting too many hits, I find it hard to make good contact with these settings:

                        (1P) Sweetspot Cursor: NORMAL
                        (CPU) Pitching Cursor: OFF
                        (CPU) Pitching Mark: POINT

My hits have gone down recently. Or maybe my offense is just anemic.

Can't be, though. I have Utley, Aramis, Howard, and Hawpe as my 2-6.

I played around with the settings and things seem to be more realistic.

My bullpen SUCKS though. I hate wasting amazing starts by my starters.

It seems like you can't... which is really annoying because I haven't gotten my settings to the point where I'm comfortable with them yet for the long term.

I'm used to it. Same thing with Konami's Winning Eleven.
