All I have to say is fielding is NO JOKE!!

One bad first step and its a wrap....I've missed so many double plays because of it.

Is there a way to display the pitch map when it is set to off? I play vs. another person, so we don't want to see what pitches are being selected. However, it's a pain when we forget what pitches that our pitchers have.

Also, what are the Gamecube buttons for speed boost while running? The manual is Wiimote/chuck slanted. From experimenting, I think that it is the R button, but I'm not sure.

Also, with the GC controller, if you hold the L button after you get the ball, the fielder will hold the ball up like someone might do while chasing someone in a rundown. Is that what this function is for? Or is it a "fake" throw for use in rundowns?

I've been under the weather lately. Bad timing!

And although I think that posting about this game over there might be like posting in a vacuum, I will post my impressions. Have you? Maybe a few people would consider giving it a go. I'm happy with it so far.

Yes, it's in options somewhere. I don't remember what it's called but there's a way.

Yeah, I would love the pitching arrow selection things too. For some reason, they went away once I started the Season Mode.

Go to options, I think towards to bottom of the items there is a setting for this. It turns off when you are on Expert.

Ok so you cannot have the pitching arrow display on top of screen if you are on expert?

There's a difference between the expert control scheme and the expert difficulty. Something to keep in mind.

No. Setting the difficulty to EXPERT turns it OFF by default. You have to pause the game, go into the options menu, and turn it back ON. The game will then save your preferences.

                          Thanks.

What exactly is that setting under, because I couldn't find what it was called.

I can't remember all the names of all the options, but scroll through all of them and read the 'tips' at the bottom of the screen. They do a good job of explaining what each option does.

It's called Breaking Ball Meter, or something to that effect. It defintly has the name "Breaking Ball" in it, and it's above the Strike Zone indicator.

It says something to the affect of:

"Indicate the pitch types you have selected."
"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied.
