All Star-Franchise
Classic - Ken Griffey Jr - Snes
Overall- 1.Highheat 2. The Show 08 3. PC(only) MVP 05

The console version of Mvp 05 is vastly overrated. Every game seemed to be 2-1, 3-2,1-0. Way too many hr's as well. The PC's mods make it a much better game.

1. Homerun Kings (Gamecube) It had many issues, but to this day, it had some of the most gorgeous stadiums we've seen. It also had full followthroughs/swings for all the big stars, like Griffey Jr. and Bonds. Many games still don't do that!

Great game HR King(HRK). And HRK was designed by Blue Shift after Sega/2K I think dump them for KRUSH Games. Blue Shift was the team that designed and started the 2K Baseball francise with WSBB 2000/2001 for the Dreamcast and WSBB for XBOX 1,

Man if only Sega/2K have kept these talented people, 2K baseball might have been the best game, but we will never know that now

I would venture to say that 90% of the people who voted for MVP do not own a PS3. The Show 08 is better than MVP in every single category.

Yeah, I have to agree. I loved MVP 05 but The Show 08 is miles ahead of it.

I agree. I can understand that people get wrapped up in the MVP PC mods. But a this point THE Show is definitely the best console baseball game ever made.

personally MLB 08 is ONLY because VISUALLY we finally have something grand and almost wirth NOt much to complain about. i don't remember MVP 2005 being that visually appealing, yeah yeah gameplay was good but it wasn't pretty.

with the show it plays godd AND ist's visually stunning at times which puts it on another tere

That was the first game that really got the feel for being in a game down. That was the first great crowd.

HOwever, the graphics and player models werent as good as contemporary games. Plus I hate that hitting engine. ANY hitting engine that does allow you to place the bast where you want it to be is just not acceptable...that and the lefty glitch was a game killer for me.

The Show is the complete package...RTTS, graphics, options, greating hitting, great pitching its the total package.

I have the Show 07 as number 2 because it has everything except the graphics...and in truth at that time only one game had better graphics ever.

WSB2K3 is next becuase the franchise and the gameplay were solid...only needing minor tweaks. But that was one solid last gen baseball game....imo...it was the best.

High Heat series was not only 100% SIM, they also had full minors and I believe the minor leaguers played their season and acquired stats (its been awhile, I could be wrong about the stats part) so you could get an idea of what they were doing/progressing.

However, I would vote for The Show 08 as greatest of All-time.

high heat was just the bomb, even though it didn't have the graphics it had best gameplay you could ever have from a video baseball game. Too bad ms doesn't make use of the rights and produce something for us gamers. I remember when they made inside pitch for the xbox, I was stoked but it had too much problems. high heat needs to return.
