    Re: The Show or 2k?

I haven't played The Show this year, but I feel like it's comparing a fillet mignon to a burger. The fillet, while often a masterpiece, is a huge investment of time money and calories. If you're going to give it care it'll pay you back. The burger, 2k11, is a quick satisfying meal, which anyone can handle, get through quickly and not feel over-whelmed.

    I prefer hamburgers.

      Great analogy!

Unfortunately that burger came from McDonalds, and has a high chance that it is screwed up. Missing cheese, mustard instead of ketchup, onions when you asked for no onions, the fries are stale, but the drink was fine.

And getting it fixed is sketchy at best since it's McDonalds, where as with your fillet mignon, you can send it back to the kitchen and odds are get it made to your satisfaction.

Please don't hate, I couldn't resist the temptation to hate on McDonalds
I own both, and play both, but 2k11 definitely has some issues that I hope are fixed with it's initial title update/patch. Just getting info on it though is like pulling teeth from a pissed off alligator.

Both fun, just, different kinds of fun in my book.

What are these game breaker flaws in the Show?

Anyone (preferably who owns both) care to comment on the online play of 2K11?

As much as I like The Show, I'm really disappointed with them continuing to not get the online play working. As hard as it is to believe, it's even worse this year than last....which is saying a lot. Show is still the better game, but it would be nice to be able to play some baseball online sometimes.

I agree with that 100%! The game has one heck of a learning curve. Sliders are made for a reason. With that said, The Show is the best sports game I have ever played, and the developers listen to their customers.
