Are there any rosters with names and numbers in english for the 2011 game on the net somewhere? I'm guessing the game just has numbers and names in japanese and I'm thinking you can probably only make out their names in English on their unis in game.

I can probaby look them up on the official baseball leagues sites, but was curious if there was one up somewhere with the default roster names and numbers.

Also, are there roster updates for the game?

I made a roster spreadsheet with the default name and #'s last year but I haven't done that yet this year. it's a long process. for now you can use the english NPB site player data site

there are player updates where konami will update the attributes of the players to reflect their performances and also trades that have gone down. however they usually don't add in players who are new to the league after the game comes out.

They usually ad players that have been in past games that have been picked up by a new team if they are signed before all-star break

are you sure about that? if i remmeber correctly the update process only began around 2 years ago and they have never added anybody new into the game. it has been one of the major complaints by the japanese fans on the forums. 1 of their "hopes" is perhaps this year, with paid DLC added, they might actually be able to buy new players who are not in the game.

It's here in Italy, finally! Man, I really need to work on my game. 19K in the first match, and only a couple of hits for my team. Besides that, it's a beautiful game. Can't wait to play more.

My copy arrived today.

Only had a chance to play it for about 25 min. I'm going to really like this game. I didn't have any frustrated moments like I do with MLB the show. Atmosphere is awesome, love the hitting, its great. I can leave the bat aim and not have it reset to the middle if I let the analog go, it stays high or low or wherever. Really like that. Pitcher and catcher interface is done so so well. Can't wait until I have more time. I know I'm gonna have alot of questions soon..hahahahaha!!!

Square + D pad : Advanced a single runner

O + D pad: retreat a individual runner (I'm not too sure on this)

Triangle : Advance all runners

It's square and point with LS to the base you're running to (ie down for home).

How do you save your settings for exhbition games under matches?

Everytime I adjust all my settings before the game, it never seems to save. From reading the tutorials it should some how save and be setting number 5? I must be doing something wrong then. Just want to play exbhition games until I figure out what settings to do for a season.

Can't say i've had that problem, i just followed the guide from translation site and it works. The only thing i can think of is after you make changes don't just simply back out of the settings screen using the O button or they won't stick you must press X button on the top left tab at the top of settings screen (there are two tabs at the top the one on the right i believe resets the settings). Also if you change settings during a game by pausing and going to settings screen i don't believe they will stick, you must do it before the game.

I have no problem saving my user settings but how about match settings for an exhibition game. I alway have to change them before a game. Is there a way to save those?

Finally got exhbition settings to save, I must have been screwing something up.

Another question,,,sorry for the questions..lol.

Which button allows you to switch fielders on plays, balls in the gaps, and short fly balls.
