You've got to realize that the pitching in your game is incredible unrealistic, being that it's way, way, way to fast. How the hell do you work a count? I think that's the biggest hang-up with the ASB franchise. The pitch speeds are far from realistic. I suppose the rumor is that there are adjustable pitch speeds this year. I'll rent it and give it a try. I don't think that's going to be enough to overcome MVP 2004 though.

This is exactly the type of person that I mean.

ASB has FIVE pitch speed settings this year. Last year's default is the second-fastest speed. It's not a rumor. It's been described in hands-on previews, shown in movies, and been detailed by the game's producer on this very board.

But if you don't have any interest in the game and you hadn't read the previews, you wouldn't know that. That situation is the No. 1 reason why there's like a million people viewing the MVP board right now and there's maybe five here.

It's just very frustrating when you see people dismissing ASB based on things that have long since been fixed. I don't care what game someone else buys... but the overall ignorance of the board these days is frustrating.

    <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

Hahaha, nicely done cub. I think you just scared him away from these boards. He probably doesn't even wanna buy ASB now because he doesn't wanna face you online.

First of all, you don't have a clue what you are talking about. I do my research on all of the games. I've fought this same battle the last few years in regards to ESPN NFL Football vs. Madden. I know exactly what your beef is. There's only problem with your logic. Your game (ASB) is NOT appealing. Can you understand that or would you rather I spell it out for you? You assume that on a site like this (where there are pretty much only HARDCORE sports gaming fanatics)that people don't do their research and learn about other games. Of course, why else would very few people be interested in ASB? Could it just be that the game is tired, and not very interesting??? Nah, could'nt be that. Everyone is just stupid and biased against Acclaim and ASB. Please.

It WASN'T too fast, it was probably the correct speed.

The PROBLEM about it is that your person waits way too long to swing for one, and another thing is that if you use a cursor, unlike ASB 2002, when you swing, the cursor stops. No more free movement with it... that stinks IMO. That's why everyone for some reason has the nerves to say that the pitches are too fast, because you cna't catch up with them, because your cursor would just stop.

Please.

You make one specific complaint in your earlier post, and it was out-of-date, helping prove the point others are making that a lot of critics are dismissing ASB because of ASB 2003 (or earlier).

Now you write something with this attitude?

First of all, you don't have a clue what you are talking about. I do my research on all of the games. I've fought this same battle the last few years in regards to ESPN NFL Football vs. Madden. I know exactly what your beef is. There's only problem with your logic. Your game (ASB) is NOT appealing.
