Sega had it last year and this year I read you can save at anytime.So basically it is EA that doesn't do this for baseball games.

Hey I won't stop everyone from drinking their ASB Kool-Aid. And for anyone that thinks I'm an "MVP GUY" they obviously don't know me or my post history so know what you're saying before talking.

What is funny is that every review that's been posted has been torn to shreds in this forum....except the one that gave it a great score. It just goes to show you that a lot of people only like what they WANT to hear.

Damn, I hope it is worth a 91, I loved last years game, which you'd know if you've read my other post. I'm just calling things for what they are. If that bothers you, well no offense but too bad. THis has less to do with ASB being a good game and more a commentary about the review and the reaction it gets.

Most of you guys make sooo much fun of the reviews and those that do enjoy MVP as being blinded by this ever powerful marketing machine. Yet the only review that you wanna hear is the one that gave ASB a grade that makes you happy. Who's blind?

If Hilary Goldstein posted in the MVP forum when he gave MVP a good review I would expect the same thing, and same reaction. And I would say the same thing. I just hope the reviewer continues to post in the appropriate forums when he writes "bad" reviews and I hope the other posters are smart enough to understand the point I'm making.

If you think I'm hitting 'below the belt' that's your prerogative, but you're wrong.

All the reviews I've seen have not scratched the gameplay of ASB but they have ripped the fielder cam, if you can call that a good review.

The reviews have been unabashedly biased towards MVP even going as far as telling others to stay away from ASB because of the fielder cam. When they talk about the gameplay its an afterthought. I don't know how gameplay can be an afterthought in a review but I guess gameplay is a secondary part of a game.

Like I said I don't know if ASB will be any good or if it will be better than MVP. But I do know that other than Michael's review I haven't seen one review that dives deep enough to cover the gameplay aspects of ASB. They usually just put the one-size fits all sentence, "there are problems with the gameplay." Fantastic that tells me a lot.

If the only thing wrong with ASB is the fielder cam and it has exactly the same gameplay as MVP with flaws in certain areas then I don't see why ASB can't be scored the same. MVP isn't perfect and in my opinion feels very unfinished so again, in my opinion, ASB doesn't have to do much to receive the same score.

But ASB doesn't have minor leagues so it's screwed in my revieweres minds.

But IMO, thats not the case. You heard one poster in this thread say that even if he gave the game a 45, then he would still be happy with his review. I feel the same way. That IGN review from yesterday was a total waste of time to read and for the reviewer to type. That review had as much insight as a drunk man describing a bar fight. Micheal on the other hand actually offered his insights and had thorough descriptions of what the game has to offer. Its the first of its kind so far for ASB reviews and thats why ppl are prasing him. Not for the score (well, I'm sure a few are)

Every complaint listed by the reviewer was either about an optional camera, or some issue not related to gameplay (or simply incorrect... e.g., the batting stances).
