Um....before you go out and try to get a pawa puro game here's a screenshot:

    Still interested......

If you are then you've made a wise choice because this game is the best and most in-depth baseball game bar none. Yes the graphics isn't stunning, but its still the best. You can play pawapuro on a U.S. Gamecube with a basic FreeLoader disc. The problem is that the Life mode is all in Japanese. So if you don't know japanese, you can't get the same experience as our lucky friend XiaNaphryz.

        Just from seeing the video...

Fabulous cut scenes, superb in-depth game, billions of create player options, funky looking pitcher/batter interface and hitting system. The swings don't look very fluid, but the detail is amazing.

I'd buy a translated version in a heartbeat. Konami, you hear me?

I was thinking that too, everything looked very smooth except for the batting/contact.

dude...that game in the video looks BANANAS!! i mean...those animations and graphics looked off the hinges. i mean...maybe i'd be more critical if i actually knew what those guys were supposed to look like, but in a generic sense, they all looked crazy good. the bodies looked super-real with super-real movements. lots of nice little touches, like the mascot doing cartwheels and the bouquet of flowers to the player. nice angles in the replays. i don't know if Shinjo hitting a homer is very realistic (i mean, judging from his MLB career...maybe he's a STUD in japan?).

yeah...i'd definitely sample that action were it here in america and in english. what system is it on in japan?? i mean...are they doing all that on a ps2 or xbox or gamecube??? almost looks too good to be a console game to me.

That game looks sweet! The animations were awsome.
Hey Konami, if you released an english version I'd buy it!
I think konami get into more sports games here in the US.

I don't get why so many people seem to love the idea of controlling one guy for a whole career (or even just one game). I must be the only one who wouldn't want to sit there and watch eight other guys bat or 90% of the balls hit go to someone else on defense.

WOW! That looks very fresh and inovative, I wonder why they would not attempt to create an american version and challenge some of the titles over here? Up until this year I have not been able to play a baseball game title for more than a month. MVP is amazing this year so I am sure that I will be playing this into October! The level of detail is tremendous.
And the mode of creating a player and taking him through his journey to the big leagues would be just flat out cool!

This game is not a total surprise to me though, If any of you own Winning ELeven 8 soccer you know what I mean.. Coming from a former soccer *****(sissy sport) to a soccer fan you need to get this game! It is so good it has me watching soccer morning noon and night! Konami makes that game too.

Yeah, and when you're a first baseman, wouldn't it be rather hard to make sure you're covering the bag everytime, or would it be hard to turn a double play, etc.?
