Against my better judgement I picked up the game!

Couple things that come to mind quick:

-Rosters are for the MOST part up to date. I played a game with the Yanks and Red Sox. Bellhorn is still on the Sox and they have a guy Ahearn playing first.

-Miller does not know how to pronounce Cano's name. He calls him Can-yo!
There are still some slip ups mentioning ESPN baseball but no big deal.

-They do not have all the pictures of the players but they do insert a real photo of a person matching the player's race. I thought it was kind of odd.

-They have 10 World series moments that you can pop into. Last years debacle for the yanks, The 86 Mets and a few dating back to 62. Did not play it yet, just scanned it!

-There is the Pennant Fever Mode where they lock you in to a certain period of the 05 season and you battle for the playoffs.

-Gameplay wise, this game still feels the same. I played one game there was not one passed ball or a hint of one.
I did bunt on purpose a few times and unfortunately the third baseman still stands there with his finger in his crack while the pitcher gets the ball.

To me, If you want to spend the money for a some what accurate roster update and play around with the new features then grab it. If not, the first release is more than sufficient.

I will play some more later to check other things out!

I did bunt on purpose a few times and unfortunately the third baseman still stands there with his finger in his crack while the pitcher gets the ball.

Maybe that crack you mentioned is something he's standing there smoking. That would also explain it.

what about the lineup glitches? and if you look at the classic teams are they named correctly? Darryl Strawberry and the likes?

BTW: I thought I saw it all until with one roller down the 3B line that was heading right for Crackman, the SS suddenly swept into camera view, scooped up the grounder as it reached the third base bag, and fired it to first!

The pitcher still has too much range in this game. David Wells was pitching for the Sox and he was sprinting around, fielding bunts like no tomorrow!

Can you play a franchise independent of the pennant fever thing?

How many teams can you control?

Player editor still in there?

You can play an independent Franchise. There is also GM career Mode

You can control up to 4 teams.

Roster management, create a player is there also!

Someone on the 2ksports forum stated that there was a Manage Mode on the game. Can you check to see if it's there and what does it do? Thanks.

- Are there classic stadiums to go with the classic WS games?

- Do the players on the classic teams have their actual names and faces?

There appears to be some type of manage mode. I just don't have time to play it right now!
