This is really the first video where I can see a difference in the animations. Things just look smoother, and you can see the momentum of the players. I also think the swing stick looks like it is implemented well, but at least there is a one button swing option.

Let's hope it's not a fluke.

Judging by all of the screenshots there isn't going to be an option to turn the strikezone off. I don't understand why they took that out of the game.

WOW, I always been a fan of this game, but it still looks like crap, the animations are just terrible again, the Outfeild animations are bad once again, the batting animations are bad again. I just hope the 360 version is better, because thats the one I'm buying, They really need to fire Kush, they really stink it up bad.

the left analog stick to influence directon. all this push up, down, up left, up right makes my head hurt. thank god they still have the "classic" batting method

This is only the second year they've had it, and it's perfect for a guy like Rich Aurilia.

I don't understand where screenshots determine an option to have the strikezone off or not. No videos nor screenshots show anything about possibly turning off turbo or ball trail, but they're both possible.

I like the stadium grass and dirt textures.But i still see they didn't fix that sissy throwing animation

This was easily my favorite BLT. Perhaps a little ambiguous on describing the hitting, but that's okay.


And, as much as I've played MLB 2K5 (has to be past 600 games now), I still can't tell if the dives in this year's iteration are toned down from last year's. I saw a few dives, but I just still can't tell.

It sure seems like doubles are much easier to hit, though... which is a good thing. Balls down the line should finally be doubles instead of singles.
