By the way, I love how nobody had used the word "sissy" or "girly" with the throwing animations until IGN used it. Sure, people didn't like the animations, but it all started with IGN it seems.

Also, the only sissy throwing animation that people had told me about was the one where they throw on the run. You'd know what I meant if you played the game enough. I hadn't seen it in this BLT, so I don't know what throws you're talking about.

I'm not going to debate with you, but I really do not enjoy hearing people think that they know me, or that they can compare to me. Granted, I don't know who you are or what you're capable of on the baseball field or with a watchful eye yourself. I can agree to say that we both are very knowledgable in baseball fundamentals, etc. But to undermine me and my performance on the field, as well as my being paid $25/hour to coach 14U girls in hitting (and I've done camps that involve infield/outfield skills that are done correctly)... it just wasn't at the right place nor the right time. In all fairness, I haven't seen enough full footage that doesn't involve clipping to make the fairest judgment. I'm still going to reserve judgment, although I never had too big of a problem about the animations in the past.

I watched all 3 videos again... can you please tell me (in what timeframe) you see the "sissy" throw?

And I'm sorry if you've proclaimed that term before IGN and I didn't catch it. I didn't mean you directly, but everybody in general. They all of the sudden started saying how they throw like girls in this game. I'll watch all of the videos again, and I can't really say that they throw like girls. Plus, I coach softball (as well as play baseball), and damn... some girls throw well! I know what you mean, though.

I'll say it. The throws look the same as last year.

              Re: blt 4 is up!

Crow hop throws weren't that bad. The way that the ball came out of their hands was a little funny, and the fact that they could stop on both feet instantly instead of slowing to a stop wasn't the best, either. But the loadup wasn't horrible... and this year, the transition from fielding the ball to loading up is much better. I can see it, and I describe every little bit of it. If you guys choose ambiguity and keep your statements too broad, I will continue to neglect what you (people in general) say because you have nothing to back it up. Everything that I say, I try to back it up with something else that's reasonable. Then I'm contradicted with, yet, another generic statement that seems as though I have been ignored.

If you don't like the game, that's fine. If you don't like the throwing animations, that's fine too. Both are opinions, and they should be respected. However, a notable fact is that the throwing animations (especially the transitioning) are different. We haven't seen all of them, which could mean both a good thing and a bad thing.

I know that I saw (VERY briefly) a swing animation that I didn't like... and [gasp!] I have proof of it too! It happens to be in the first video, 00:16 into it, where they show a lot of quick clips one-by-one. There's one at Ameriquest Field in Texas that you'll see... something that you'll never see a baseball player do. I wish they scrapped those ugly Byung-Hyun Kim swings, but some of them still seem to be there.

If you can't see the differences in the throwing, though... then I'll just go ahead and say that you're already not favoring 2K6 in terms of a possible purchase. I do it for every game... keep an open mind, and try to find the best and worst out of every game. Here, there are obvious changes. Notice that I didn't say improvements, because that is for the person to judge. Why you can't see them? I don't know. But it's there... it's there.

Dude, who made you king? Geez, lighten up. You think you're going to make everyone upset because you won't respond to them? You really like to hear yourself talk. Geez, people are going to disagree. You can't be right all the time, can you? lol.

Who said i didn't like the game or i won't buy the game.2k Baseball games were my favorite(2k4) until last year(MLB & MVP)and i have always supported 2kSports over any other sports title. You can complain about your STADIUMS STADIUMS STADIUMS and i'm going to complain about the THROWING THROWING THROWING.They had more than enough time to fix this. But thats not to say that this will stop me from buying the game.As long as they worked on the gameplay for this year, which we will still have to wait and see

No no, my only disagreement with you was that you proclaimed there was still that 'sissy throw' (which is a very specific animation that I'm talking about), and you still haven't showed me which video (go ahead... do ANY BLT video that we've ever had) that has this animation. I have yet to see it, yet you said it was still in this game according to a BLT video that you saw.

Plus, I revised my post to say that what I said was not directed towards a specific poster... just to the general crowd. My complaints are that the stadiums have been left unchanged... your complaint is that the animations are not to your liking. They have been changed, though.

Hmm... I wouldn't quite qualify those as sissy at all. I don't really know if they figured a way for those medium throws, though... like, not the short enough distance for an underhand toss, but can't be powerful enough to fire at somebody. They are awkward, but they aren't the sissy throw that I was talking about. I can somewhat see your complaint about lack of improvement in that area, but they have been changed.
