I like it...I think it is a good game of baseball...the animations are a little choppy, but I like the presentation in game, the payoff pitching, swing technique...On top of that, the customization with music on the xbox is amazing...so many spots in the game you can add your own music to, not to mention giving every player in the game his own walk up music.

I am just happy to see some people with a positive look to this game. Get tired of seeing so many negative threads. I am getting the game tonight and will play a whole season, every game and will make myself enjoy it.

Well after playing 5 games with adjusted sliders on All-Star settings, I can say I like this game. The only problems I have with the game has to be the lull that sometimes occur when a slow roller is hit, and your fielder will either just stand there, or react slowly. And some of the animations are not as smooth as they should be. But there is no way last year's game is better than this game. There are some things that are going to take time to get adjusted to, but don't give up.

Too many "adjustments" to fix a flawed game is pretty sad. Imagine the folks that want to play online and cannot "fix" many things. Im sorry...it's just not right. But hey..ill be there to pick up the 360 version next week! 2K should thank us for giving donations when we bought this.

As a lover of baseball games I can say this game is Awful.
Fielding animations are terrible, throws are terrible and I would
not suggest this game for anyone. I hoped this game would be
better but it is not. I hope for all of us baseball fans they will
tear this game up next year and start all over. I have played mlb
the show and have been surprised by its depth it does have some
problems but overall a nice change in the post MVP days. I have
played baseball games for along time and hope we all one day will
have the perfect baseball game.

I second this opinion. This game is completely awful. Too make things worse it doesn't have shortcomings in one area that it can make up with something great in another area. The gameplay sucks bad. Fielders don't take good or aggressive movements towards the ball, the swing stick is not consistent, and the graphics suck. This could be made better if the depth of the game was good and you could just manage and simulate your games but the depth sucks! No full minor league rosters? I'm not even sure why they made this game becuase 2k5 was better.

I am amazed at the amount of ripping this game is getting, and I think I know why. People want everything handed to them. By this I mean people want games, especially sports games, to come right out of the box perfect for playing, and if it's not perfect then all hell breaks loose. When I played my first game of 2K6 right out of the box, I was not happy, but the more and more I started making slider adjustments as well as kicking up the game level to allstar, then the game became enjoyable for me. Everyone talks like MVP, which I loved and The Show are perfect, but each one of those games has it's flaws also. All I can recommend is to just sit back, tweak the game some, then play it. You will find at some point a set of sliders that will make the game fun for you, too. And I'm quite sure someone on these boards will have some slider threads posted real soon for us to take advantage of. Peace.

The problem is you can't fix most of the things that are bad about the game. Such as the new physics crap, and the bad glitches. The fielding cannot be fixed by sliders, and the fielding is HORRIBLE.

I agree, but what about the AI??? I have been reading about AI flaws which are not subject to slider adjustments. If the AI is decent then your point is totally valid....

I wanted to like this game, I actually liked 2k5, but this game is really half- as sed. 2k5 took quite a bit of tweaking to be a good game and I am just not willing to spend the next 2 months figuring out how to fix what is messed up.

To the guy who said that everyone wants a good game handed to them, "Why the he ll would I buy a game that was f***** so I could fix it?" That should be the job the people who make the game. A few slider tweaks, maybe you have to create a few players that aren't in the game, but you should not have huge holes in rosters, shouldn't need to edit every player and when you do adjust the roster, it should FREAKIN WORK!

I will have to recommend the Show for everyone with a ps2.

the animations are terrible i think, well compared to mvp.

the whole game just plays so sluggish. Its like the players are playing with 20lb weights on their ankles.

But my main gripe is the fielding, the cpu controls your player way to much and the throwing animations are down right ugly to me.

I have played this game non stop the last few days, and have had no problem with the pure motion physics...if you take the right angle, I think that you should have no problems...I will admit that the slow infield fielding bothers me some, but not enough to put the game down...

I like the game, I think it is a great change of pace from MVP, which I have played for the last two years straight.
