    - 60 frames per second
    - Zone hitting
    - More foul balls, foul ball slider, foul ball attributes for players
    - Better fielding camera (truer to a television broadcast)

There are a lot more things (too many to mention), but those are sort of the "musts" for me.

Two more things that need to be improved/added for 2K8.

      1) The CPU baserunning AI needs to be overhauled. I catch way too many runners heading to the next base on easy fly ball outs.

      2) Make the miniature city skyline on top of the Shea Stadium scoreboard lit up. Each building is suppose to be illuminated & not just have a light shining on it like in 2K7.

Get rid of the chase cam or make it an option you can turn off. I can't see where the ball is from that cam and it's cost me extra bases. Just to gimmicky.

-Better franchise mode-all minor league affiliates complete with GCL, AZL, maybe even the winter leagues for some player development. in depth rosters, maybe even a draft? I think the show had a good idea of it with theirs.

-Career mode? that would be nice. kind of like what their doing with the BIGS only in 2k7. send them through the minors take your lumps etc. most of the other sports games these days have this feature(superstar mode in madden, campus legend in ncaa, etc.)

-a little less center fielder bobbling catches for a double, ive only had the game for a week and ive seen this animation about 15 times.

-more research in batting stances. (ie hideki matsui's is totally wrong)

-camera angles, the camera angles are a little unfriendly. i find it hard to judge ground balls a lot of the time.

            1. I love the pitching interface, it just needs to be less forgiving. It's far too easy to hit your spots and it should be more difficult. It's the best pitching interface but it needs to be tweaked.

            2. Fielding camera- this will definitely change. Brinkman said it sucked in the little presser after the release of the game.

            3. Framerate, WAY too much stuttering in the game. This should not be a problem on the 360.

            4. Crowd is goofy as heck i.e. cheering at the most random moments and being dead quiet 95% of the time. It just doesn't make sense. This should not be a difficult thing to do. After I hit a HR at home, the crowd should not be dead.

            5. Don't have huge celebrations at the mound after winning the 1st game of a three game series in April, seriously WTF?

            6. Franchise should be refined, the minor leagues are just a menial add on. There's no depth to the minors. Atleast there should be a High Heat like model of the minor leagues where minor stats are tabulated and you can keep full rosters down there. Again, this should not be an issue on 360/PS3.

            7. CPU roster logic was abhorrent. Enough said. I think at times that the 2K people just ignored the results of season sims.

            8. More variety to Miller and Morgan, how about talking about some stats about the season rather than about the past. It's kinda repetitive.

            9. I think the AI take pitch sliders need to be refined, way too many hacks at first pitches.

I enjoyed 2K and the series is definitely headed in the right direction. I hope they see some of these recommendations. I'd like to think that one of the reasons College Hoops and NBA 2K are the unequivocal leaders in their fields is that the teams behind those games spend time listening to consumer input. Let's hope the MLB 2K series does the same.

Variety is the spice of life or so it's been said...

The first and last name database needs some attention, it's an easy fix, just add a bunch of new first and last names...

The Edit-A-Player could be improved with a " Scanned Face (Scroll Feature)"
You can't beat 600 MLB players faces to choose from...The faces are there let us use them...

More uniforms include more Classic Uniforms, let us choose any uniform for both home and away teams...

              Offer "Classic Stadiums"

This is my pet peeve, 2K went to the trouble and expense to acquire the rights to many legends, then put time and talent into making their likeness and after that went and hid them in exhibition mode?

Please let us use the Legends in Franchise and Season modes...

Finally let us have an option in Season and Franchise to use legends, Classic Stadiums, Classic Uniforms
and a scanned face feature that would include all MLB players, and let us scroll through these faces when we are editing a player...

              Scooter...

                  I wish for:
                  A Throw accuracy slider.
                  A Throw Power slider.
                  The Option to auto field.
Be able to choose the uniforms that AI teams wear.
Better fielding sensitivity, ability to change direction more fluidly.
More hit variety. More than either Out or homer for the cpu for ex.
Make the payoff pitching interface far more difficult. Effort should determine precision countered with 100 interface speed should be really hard to work with.
Give me the ability to make the game super super hard if I choose.
Player name edits that are actually recognized and spoken if I choose a name from your list.
GM Mode that doesnt ask me to trade my team captain-star.
Untouchables for every team. Like Jeter or Pujols.

                    #1 Priority on Wishlist!

Please, please please fix the fielding cameras. No more forcing me to watch every infield throw from behind 1st base...it totally takes away the excitement of seeing how close a runner is to beating out the play.

Please, please please, don't make me field outfield balls from the "behind home plate" or "behind 2nd base" camera anymore. The ability to judge depth perception is totally robbed from the user.

Please give us the option to use traditional camera angles for fielding - for example zoom, BROADCAST and aerial.

Also, please fix the camera on HRs so we can actually see the BALL as it is leaving the park. How are we supposed to time jumps at the wall or know whether or not to take 2 bases (when hitting) when we can't see where the ball is being hit?

Please, please, please fix the fielding cameras. Pleaaaase.

                    Thanks.

                        - Smaller (and lower) strike zone
                        - The way that you have the ball bounce off of the grass = no.

                          Re: MLB 2K8 Wishlist

I'm not sure if the first post mentioned this, it was a little unclear. But I would like fully playable minor leagues. Also make the minor league players fully customizable. Full rosters as well. 100 players per organization (25 for A, AA, AAA, MLB). And they should have more players in the game with fake names in the minors. Maybe like the top 20 prospects for each organization. I expect more out of nextgen games than what we got this year. There is no reason for MVP 05 on PS2 to have more playable teams/players/stadiums.

A few stadiums for each league (A, AA, AAA). Maybe even real life ones (a couple from each league) instead of the generic ones like MVP05.

I would also like to have the ability to put the cooperstown players on teams and be able to edit them. The more customization the better. I think the guys with madden have figured that out.

I second have actual brand names instead of 2K on everything. Maybe actual styles as well like you choose the brand first then the style. And if there isn't a style of glove to match have a 2K brand to make custom gloves. That's all.

a game that works consistantly... meaning no constant freezing.

more variety in brand and gear like ppl mentioned.

iron out the kinks with the errors like email, league news, etc

better trading system. maybe list what the other team is looking for, this way you dont spend so long trying to figure out what "this will make our roster unbalanced" means.

and what has been mentioned before.
Lol, people get enjoyment from their game in different ways. Why they enjoy one thing over another is not really important. --trobinson97

                              just a quick question:
did EA patent their baserunning mechanic or something?
it was very good and convinent to use and sometimes its very frustrating with MLB 2K7.
also for next year, to add, break up double plays please...
get rid of the ugly animations and add more good new ones, better generic faces, clean up the game more before releasing, better AI overall.

                                2K PLEASE Address the Following...

                                1) Player and team specific music- allow custom soundtracks PLEASE... allow for between each specific inning as well EX Sweet Caroline playing in the middle of the 8th at Fenway
                                2) Bullpen entrances, show them leaving the pen, running/walking to the mound, and throwing warm up pitches
                                3) On most homeruns, players don't sprint out of the box... this needs to be fixed
                                4) No delay when throwing the ball around the horn after outs
                                5) Better atmosphere... rivarly atmosphere (Sox vs. Yankees shouldnt have the same feel as Royals DRays), more crowd chants, THE WAVE, and cheering in the appropriate places... atmosphere could take this game to the next level alone, with the graphics already being amazing, imagine how imersed you could get with an intense and appropriate atmosphere per the situation.
                                6) Better AI fielding and baserunning logic
                                7) Rocket Arms= enough said
                                8) Better franchise logic, lineups, trades, free agency, injuries... it really ruins the game
                                9) Re-write the draft.... it seems that players dont progress that well and that there are rarely any good computer generated players that turn out to be stars 5 years down the line... This has been a major issue for me for a few years now and it never gets addressed.
                                10) Catchers taking off their helmets during pop ups
                                11) Managers do not go to the mound just for pitching visits all the time, use the pitching coach....
                                12) Throwing animations... players simply cannot make the throws that are performed in this game... moving away from the base they are throwing to and throwing rockets right on the money to ruin a perfect bunt or infield single... the player physics need to be addressed here
                                13) Tone down the HRs, a little more hit variety still
                                14) Lose the canned animations after innings
                                15) This game is too beautiful to not run at 60 FPS... This is a must for any next generation sports game
                                16) Take out slides.... they are vital to baserunning and it hurts this game that you cant even breakup a double play. This has to be implemented for next years game.
                                17) In Franchise mode, pitchers are throwing fastballs at 77 MPH. The progression needs to be completely rewritten and pitchers that are both CPU generated and current players alike need to have realistic pitch speeds.
                                18) In Owner mode, create a stadium like in MVP series
                                19) THE WAVE PLEASEEE

I know some of these are very nit picky, but its the small things that are beautiful about baseball and thats what it will take to elevate this game to the next level.
