    1) Make the outfielder bigger! Make the entire playing field bigger for that matter.

    2) Give me mroe options in fielding views.

Those are easy to do and must be done in some form.

      "pay off pitch mode"

This mode is a for players that would rather play the game like a manager.. The mode would drastically increase the speed to complete a game while giving a watchable sim style feel.

This mode was called one pitch mode in "Tony Larussa baseball 96 and All star baseball for the xbox.

This mode was great for players who like managing but don't like boring text style managment.

2k baseball is a beautifull game and a management feel would be great.

But I never understood that mode... was it just like every count was a full count, or how did they go about it?

              For Me:

              1. HAVE THE ABILITY TO PLAY AS ANY TEAM DURING SEASON MODE.

              2. Even more hit variety.

              3. Ability to move pitcher on the rubber so pitches have different results depending on what side of the rubber they are on.

              4. More distinct movement of breaking pitches.

              5. Discernable speed from the fastball to offspeed. Right now all piches look the same speed.

              6. Ability to move hitter around the box. Pitchers that throws hard you can move to the back of the box. Knuckleballer or crafty pitchers you can move up in the box. Two strikes you can creep toward the plate to reach the outside corner (but realize you might end up on your seat when the pitcher brushes you back).

              7. Syncronize the IF/OF throwing speed to runner speed. I have yet to see this done right this year.

              8. Easier to check swing using the stick.

              9. More variety of foul balls.

              10. Realistic walk totals on both sides.

              11. More classic stadiums, like Ebbets.

This enough for now. I am sure there will be more.

"Ditto" on Classic parks, like Ebbets...

Don't bother offering Classic Stadiums and Legends if you hide them in exhibition mode again...

Please let us enjoy them in Franchise and Season modes...

RANDOM PITCH COUNT GENERATOR! i accidentally posted this elsewhere...sorry...but something that i love and i think will make this game better is a random pitch count generator for each at bat. obviously, this could be an option that could easily be turned off...but for someone like me (and a lot of other gamers), we want a realistic game but don't have the time to play an hour and a half long game. by realistic i mean a regular number of walks, higher pitch counts, etc. though it wouldn't solve all problems, it was about the best feature that All Star Baseball ever came up with and it seems EXTREMELY easy to add into a game and would be a huge benefit for me. i used some pretty awesome sliders and i actually loved the pitching in this game...but unless i did it on purpose, i never had a 3-0 count against someone and rarely ever saw anything go to a full count...and i never had a pitcher get to 70 pitches by the 4 or 5 inning even when they are struggling. What are my chances?

I'd like 2k to make a game that on default sliders will have realistic pitch counts and foul balls. They should tie stamina so that pitchers like Carlos Zambrano can go 120 pitches while pitchers like Roger Cleemens get tired after 90. I'd alos like to see better crowd AI so that the 9th inning really sounds and feels different from the first inning. This can also work for bigger series or postseason play.

Would also like to see more nagging and little injuries. Every month, your team should have to deal with players getting injured or having diminished performance because of an injury. The user should have the ability to let the player play out his injury or rest him to get better performance later on.

Add a zone or cursor hitting option.

Fix 2 button/swingstick hitting so that it somewhat resembles the physical reality in which we live.

During pitching when you miss the payoff or zone target it always is a meatball pitch in the strikezone. Make it so that the majority of the time it is a ball. This would increase pitch count and walks tremendously.

Add pitch indicators so that batters can identify what pitch is coming. Like the MVP style colors, or the High Heat style cartoony spin for breaking balls. Something.

I havnt read all of these...but I have been playing MVP Baseball 05 a lot recently, since my xbox 360 is out for repair.

Here are some things I think we should finally get (and i wont even go into gameplay issues, since it is clear the fielding and batting physics need a lot of work)

                          1) Design-a-ballpark

                          2) Stats for players in the draft at whatever level they were at...as well as a comprehensive scouting report. See Madden. Maybe even the ability to do a pre-draft tryout, where you select 15 players or so and have a scrimmage with one of your minor league clubs, so you can see how these guys peform/look on the field.

3)maybe xbox live vision camera functionality for create-a-player, ala tiger woods 08.

                          4) Custom batter into music.

                          5) Create-a-uniform/team

                          6) more in-depth player contracts....no-trade clauses, escape clauses, no-demotion clauses, option years.

                          7) A better player development system/player skill erosion system.

                              2. No franchise bugs
                              3. A Madden like career mode with tryouts, agents, interviews, etc.

                                Re: MLB 2K8 Wishlist

I can't believe this game has been out for six months already, we're halfway to 2K8.

One thing I would definitely like to see added is the meter-throwing for all fielders. For the most part 2K got it right, but there are still a few too many times when my 2B uncorks one from 15 feet away from the 1B when he has plenty of time to retire the batter.

Meter-throwing would completely fix this problem.

Another thing I believe I've mentioned elsewhere is that with payoff pitching (which is improved post-patch) is to make you throw balls on mistake pitches sometimes. Right now if you screw up w. the yellow circles you throw a meatball strike every time, making it very difficult to get high pitch counts for the user and really limit walks.

Another pitching change I'd like to see implemented are situational attributes. Some pitchers have great stuff but always fall behind in counts and it kills them. Some pitchers have so-so stuff but have great but pound the strike zone and never fall behind.

I think it'd be cool to have a rating for "first pitch", "even in count", "ahead in count", and "behind in count" and depending on how high the ratings are determines how fast the pitching circle moves and/or the ratings for each pitch.

So for example, Kyle Farnsworth can't throw first-pitch strikes to save his life, so he would have 65 for "first pitch" and his meter would be extremely fast (or his ratings on each pitch would drop). If he throws a strike, the circle slows down, making it easier to pitch. If he doesn't, it becomes even more difficult to pitch.

There needs to be someway to differentiate pitcher's skill because I consistently have an ERA under 2.00 with Farnsworth even though he's awful in real life despite have great stuff. I feel like there is no realistic way in any baseball game (past or present) that displays this. A pitcher is either good or bad in a video game. There's no way to represent a pitcher who has great stuff but can't quite put it all together.
