I'm not in this boat of people who is going to "bury" the company who doesn't put out media, and praise the one who does... I just want something... A "real" interview w/ some in-depth dialogue of specific features/additions. I mean it's obviously not hard to do since The Show's people are doing it. The game is practically done right...Why not release some info? 2K's lack of info isn't going to make me buy a PS3 and get The Show, but dammit I would like some news. It's set to be released on March 4th according to IGN, and we have one crappy interview to read and that's it.

I agree with you 100%. Seems like me and you are on the same page here. What is your gametag? Maybe we can game when 2k8 comes out.

Yes, PS3 games are not region restricted. So you can import Japanese games and play them on your PS3. The only problem is understanding the menus.

I purchased Pro Yakuzi Spirts and it plays the most sim baseball out there, but you're right the language barrier is frustrating especially when you try and play a season

No scottd ill still buy it but the lack of info is fustrating. I dont want to buy a ps3 just for one game but i wont lie and say im not tempted. The show looks real good this year. I like both eye candy and gameplay and last years show look very weak graphics wise. This year it's a different story. Thats what marketing does. It makes you want the product. The show has given their fans so much s*** that it makes you want the game. Thats all im saying. 2K should do the same and i know they will be profitable and not have people wondering about info.

i bought my ps3 for two reasons.

my 4th xbox broke.
and MLB the show.

all the other games i play on xbvox i can play on ps3 as well as have the best baseball game ever.

Well, graphics on the 360 are better so I'll just wait for MLB28k and enjoy my 60 FPS on all my sports games...

Get out. If I read another post with somebody making a baseless claim about one console's superiority to another, I'm going to start filing complaints to the moderators. You take that type of talk to the console forum. MLB2K8 will have the same performace on both consoles, its even been constantly reiterated as such in the recent interview with Brinkman. I think we're far enough along in the console generation to stop making such ridiculous comparisons.

ho wmany hours of gaming should determine a system's value, not the number of games. I myself could see buying a ps3 for the show if it is indeed a fantastic - must have game. I have no other reason for wanting the ps3 at the moment and also have many other things to spend the money on. The bottom line is that a full season of baseball could easily take 200hours to complete. That alone could make the system with the purchase. I have a hard time imagining putting 200 hours into a game other than a sports title.

Really, you could sell you 360 for a good chunk of the purchase price and not have to outlay the full amount.

I am 360 owner and very satisified with it, but the show could convince to buy a ps3 if it is THAT GOOD, and IF ( a very big if) 2k8 doesn't come through.

I myself think 2k8 will be very competitive this year. If you read the interview at IGN you to may be convinced.

I can't see ever buying a console for one game... If 2K7's not up to par...which I will be really disappointed if it isn't... Then I will just stick w/ Mass Effect and tearing 12 yr olds to shreds on COD4.

I might just force myself to like 2K8 just so I can play a baseball game...if it ends up sucking...But I don't have that much of a disposable income to go buy another system w/ only one game in mind for it.
