Re: **The little things thread**
Don't recall if this was mentioned before, but when the visitors hit a HR at Wrigley, the crowd chants "Throw it back"Comment

Re: **The little things thread**
This may have already been mentioned here.............
I really like how they did the throwing to first base in the situation where the 1B man has to go to his right to make the play and the pitcher covers the bag. If you throw the ball to soon, it will get to bag before the pitcher and roll into foul territory.....SWEET !!! I had this happen to me twice and even saw the CPU do it once
Adds a new wrinkle to the gameplay and makes that play risky to make on occasion.....VERY NICE!!!
Also, I had a hot shot up the middle that hit my pitcher and the balled bounced back toward the third base line into foul territory allowing the runner to take second!!!
There's a few more that I've seen but can't remember right now.XBL Gamertag: hoos4974

Re: **The little things thread**
Speaking of base coaches.....I had a funny thing happen in my last game involving the third base coach. While watching a replay for another reason, I saw the coach actually stumble and fall near the conclusion of the play. There was a play at third base where the third baseman had to leave the bag to field a throw from right field. The coach appeared to react and move away from where the ball was heading at which time he stumbled on something and fell to the ground. Never seen anything like it beforeLast edited by Hoos; 03-25-2008, 04:18 PM.XBL Gamertag: hoos4974

Re: **The little things thread**
I'm not sure if this has been brought up but I find this really annoying.
The catcher should take off his mask when going for a pop up. It looks awful that he keeps his mask on.Comment

Re: **The little things thread**
On a chopper up the middle, the second base UMPIRE ducked and covered his head!
Also, I like that pitchers don't necessarily recover all their stamina if you run them down to single digits and and there are no off days...makes using the pen that much more important.Comment

Re: **The little things thread**
Not sure if this has been mentioned but I was playing as the mets in Philly and Pedro gave up 3 straight home runs for me(as I try to learn the new pitching system) and at the end of the last home run, the philly crowd charts to chant. Peeedroooo, peeedroooo. Awesome.Originally posted by jim416You are the 2k Police. :)Comment

Re: **The little things thread**
Just played a game at The Jake against the Indians. I was at the plate and Carmona throws a wild pitch to the backstop. Martinez runs after the ball and his momentum made him put his hands up against the fence to stop himself. After the play Martinez is injured 1 - 2 weeks with a sprained wrist. I love little details like this!
Kelly Shoppach later in the game did the same exact thing, but did not get injured. It's nice to see that this only happens sometimes and not every time.Goozex

Re: **The little things thread**
I'm sure this has been mentioned but I love how every time I hit a HR I can actually FEEL it. Maybe it's my mind playing tricks but I can actually feel the controller feeling a bit different. I can't describe it but it makes hitting a mammoth HR entertaining AND rewarding.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club
