Re: PC version question
Only thing I can see is maybe the video card.
Jim, if you want to get an idea of how it might run. You can d/l the demo of NBA 2k9 for free. The system requirements are pretty simliar.

Re: PC version question
My PC has..
a dual core AMD @ 2.2 Ghz
2 GBs of DDR2 667 Mhz RAM
an Nvidia 8800 GS 384 MB DDR3 RAM
and I don't expect to run MLB 2K9 on max settings, but if it's ported well, I should be able to get a good framerate with minor graphical sacrafice.Comment

Re: PC version question
Upgrading your video card does wonders for game playing on your pc.
I've been out of the loop ever since I purchased my 360, but you can read up at sites like Tom's hardware: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/...phics-Cards,4/

Re: PC version question
Yeah, a Geforce 7100 will definitely be showing it's age with the latest games. I had a 7800GS in 2007 that was slowing me down on the new games then, and that was 2 years ago...
I bought an 8800GTS in the summer of '07 and that is still doing pretty good.Comment

Re: PC version question
Your GPU ( graphics card ) is probably built onto your motherboard. That's gonna make games very slow because it's sharing your main memory. The GPU doesn't have it's own memory. Memory on a graphics card is faster than system memory. I have an Nvidia 8800 GS and I got it for like $95. For around $120, you can get a real nice video card now.Comment

Re: PC version question
No, you can get an 8800GT for just over $100 these days, but they are getting harder to find because the 9800GT has replaced it and is a better option now, which can also be had for about $125:

^^^ Actually that one is only $109 after rebate.Comment
