IN a Franchise/Season game..Do the CPU switch up their lineups, like if a guy is tired before the game start,. you'll see the back up?..For instance say, Molina is has just caught the last 5 games, and his last game was a night game, but the next game will a afternoon game. Will Jason Larue be in there instead of Molina?Hope this make sense. I have my son in my hand while typing.

I just updated the first post in the thread with most the stuff I have written to this point. If a mod could update my thread to point that out it would be great.I won't ask for Christmas or birthday gifts if you subscribe to the Operation Sports Newsletter (Not Just Another Roster Update). Re: ChaseB's MLB 2K10 Thread
No, no, no...Thanks chase for answering all of our questions. I am enjoying reading all these answers to everyones questions for the most part.
Please look into online play more if you dont mind. I basically buy this game to play in online leagues and if theres no presentation like batter walkups, mound visits etc I will be very disappointed. Thats what I hated about MLB 2K9 half the time you didnt know who you were pitching to or how well a batter was hitting that particular game. GOD I hope online play isnt that "HURRY UP" crap again. I want all the presentation offline has to offer but online when im playing a league game.
God no.
Baseball games take way too long as it is. I want as much of that stuff cut out in the online game as possible. We had games going for over and hour last year. you throw that stuff back in, and it will seriously ad 30-45 minutes to games.
Maybe for pick-up games in which both players agree. No way for league or ranked games.
Game length is one of the biggest issues for baseball. They are easily the longest (in videogame play), and have the least amount of action.Comment

Re: ChaseB's MLB 2K10 Thread
I don't know the official answer, but I threw a called third strike in the demo that was clearly outside of the zone. But I had maxed ut the effort, and it was Sabbathia. It felt like I was given the call.Comment

hehe, while baseball games are usually longer, if i am in a good pitchers duel online, i love that more then all the home run base hit after basehit action. No, no, no...

I guess me growing up as a pitcher i tend to love the 3-2 ball games over the 8-7 ones.Comment

I like that too. Plus, it usually makes the game go faster

Are there ticket prices in franchise mode and can you change them?
Is it hard to field every play correctly (is there enough time to see the ball coming, etc)? In MLB 2k9 I would run the fielder the wrong way or the infielder just by bumping the stick slightly and it would basically ruin the game for me as the score would change, etc.Comment

Holy WOW are throw speeds screwed. Way too overpowered. Fielder reaction/speed is too high as well. Chase will expand on it, just wow.Comment

I was watching a video of gameplay and the leftfielder almost threw out the runner at 1st on a base hit to left.Comment

Re: ChaseB's MLB 2K10 Thread (Updates in First Post)
Yeah I played some more games with Mill this morning and they just are too fired up. It's amplified because when the ball hits the ground it almost seems like the ball speeds up as well -- at least for OF throws. Just don't run on people in this game or else you will be gunned seems to be the lesson at this point. And it probably wouldn't be so bad if you actually saw the players step into the throws etc. but it just seems like they catch and then can fire on point without momentum. It also seems very hard to get a hit through the infield since the IF players have really good reaction times tied in with good speed -- I don't feel this is as big an issue as the IF/OF throw speeds though (especially because there is a slider for one and not for the other).I won't ask for Christmas or birthday gifts if you subscribe to the Operation Sports Newsletter (Not Just Another Roster Update). I think the only silver lining with the OF arms is, that if it's a huge issue, hopefully 2K will address it and edit every arm in a future roster update, instead of a patch.Comment
