I think it's safe to say that "Moustakas" isn't a very common name.

Well.... He is one of the highest prospects in baseball. I'd think they would know how to say his name. Jus sayin.

Last night playing as the Reds vs Padres in a ST game.
Score tied 3-3 heading into the bottom of the ninth. (Stubbs hit a 3 run HR to tie it in the 8th) Padres get their first two guys on, I then get them to hit into a DP. I am almost out of the inning. The DP was a hard hit grounder right by 3rd. Rolen picks it up touches 3rd and fires a bullet to 1st for the DP, it was a great play.
Anyway man on second two outs and up steps Headley who lines a single up the middle.
Stubbs picks it up and fires a pretty good throw home. The runner rounds third and it looks like he is going to be out. Hanigan catches the one hop throw and goes to tag the runner.
The runner hook slides around the back of the plate to avoid the tag. It was a beautiful slide I watched the replay about 10 times. The Padres dugout went nuts and stormed the runner.

I have seen this a couple times where the runner will motion to the Ump that he was safe on a close play. If he is safe he will pump his fist and if he is out he will stare down the Ump until the transition scene.

Hot and Cold streaks that effect the players ratings

Bad match up for batter VS a pitcher effect the players ratings

          New ball physics is good

The HUD showing who is exiting and who is entering the game

          New pitch types

this might not be new but a switch hitter and go to the other side of the plate VS a pitcher if he wishes

Howard thought he hit a HR, so he started to walk with a little pop in his step, the it twisted foul, so he hopped up and half jogged back to the plate.

It was cool to see the transition from homerun jog to walking back to the plate so quickly and smothly

On a similar note, Yankees vs Red Sox at Fenway - During a day game in the earlier innings the home plate is in sunshine and A-Rod wears his sunglasses batting, but as the game progresses and shadows move across home plate he comes out with no sunglasses. Thought that was pretty cool.

Just played a night game at PNC (love that stadium). Pirates(me) vs. Braves. Hung a curveball to McCann on the outside part of the plate. He hit a towering moon shot to left and it just kept going. Thanks to the new camera, couldn't tell if if was going out or not. It just did clear the fence. McCann had started out of the box hard, but when the ball cleared the wall, they cut back to him just as he got to 2nd base, and he went into a HR trot. Cool as heck. I don't recall that being in last year.

Also, on extra base hits... I like how the base runner as he makes the turn around 1st, will pick up the 3B coach.

I like how Gary Thorne talks about the upcoming schedule for each team during the game. Pretty sweet.

                  Yes, I'm easily amused.

Playing in Milwaukee and it's cold outside so my pitcher is wearing a jacket while he's on first base. Nice.

That is Visual Concepts for you. I'm so glad 2K decided to invite them to the development party. If given time, they will turn this franchise into what the football and NBA titles are and have been!!!

Nice touch. But why was the roof open in Miller Park if it's cold outside?

                        Just asking....

Playing in Wrigley and the opposing team(me) hitting HR's and each time the Wrigley crowd chants, Throw it Back. In HH baseball, they actually did throw it on the field.

Adrian Gonzalez hit a towering HR against me. Granderson races back and climes the wall to make the catch but its way over his head. So he just hangs up on the top of the wall watching the ball go. Thought that was pretty cool. To have a specific wall climb animation where you have no shot of catching it.
