Re: MLB 2K11 - "The Little Things"
The commentary is awesome during the whole game. Never experienced anything like that in a sports game.
But I do have a question I hope you guys can answer. How can I play a game for, lets say, the Marlins when I'm doing a Franchise in which I only play the Giants? Is that possible? It doesnt work under "daily view".
Hope u guys can help me with that.Comment

They should have included the subway car going by in Yankee stadium and the really loud airplanes flying overhead into la guardia at citi field.Comment

I haven't played there in a while, but I believe Citi Field does sport airplane sounds.Comment

Re: MLB 2K11 - "The Little Things"
Love the little things that come up in the commentary that still make me smile. The promo for todays game mentioned it was Cinco de Mayo, the promos for Sundays game mentioning Mothers Day. The breakdown that the team isn't playing consistent ball. Just lots of little things that make me smile.God Bless The USAComment

Re: MLB 2K11 - "The Little Things"
One thing I noticed last night from the sound:
I usually have the tv turned pretty low so as not to disturb the wife upstairs, but last night I had the volume higher than normal. You could hear the crowd "oooo" slightly when the 2 strike pitch just misses. Also, Gary Thorne even says "not sure where that one was at." Very cool
Another thing is the "signature" style in the game. Yes, there are some players that don't get the treatment, but when you have Derek Jeter or Albert Pujols at the plate, it really looks like them based on their reactions to pitches and when they swing and miss. We've all seen games that have the pre-bat mannerisms or the particular stance, but the in-bat mannerisms are superb.
I even like when the catcher has to move and get on one knee to get the ball back to the pitcher. Good stuff.Comment

Re: MLB 2K11 - "The Little Things"
not sure if this was mentioned, but today bautista hit a bomb, about 20 feet inside the foul pole. what was cool was not only A. bautista's 'swag' after he hit it was incredible...admired it for a little bit, then tossed his bat all dramatic to show up the pitcher, then just started chewing his gum while he went into the trot....but the neatest thing was B. when i watched the replay and watched the crowd react, as soon as he hit it, you saw about 10-15% of the crowd stand up, then a LITTLE after, 40-50% had stood up, until finally it landed in the 2nd deck inside the foul pole and everyone got up cheering. it was siiiick and so real how the fans got excited at different times mid ball flight and how there's always the select avid baseball fans who right from the crack of the bat know something special had taken place and get up immedietely.
the other thing, which has been mentioned many times how good the commentary is; a particular thing that amazes me is they started talking about vladdy for a bit, then he reached base and up came adam jones...so they introduced adam jones coming up to bat thinking ok that was it. but then they continued on vladdy something like "but back to what you were saying on vladimir guerrero...." lol crazy.Comment

Re: MLB 2K11 - "The Little Things"
I gave up a pretty untimely HR with Kershaw and you could see him walk off the mound, turn around, put his glove over his mouth and mutter afterword. Nice touch.Comment

Re: MLB 2K11 - "The Little Things"
this is a really dumb question, but can someone tell me how to activate classic batting? I cant seem to find it and I don't really like hitting with the sticks!
thanks!Comment
