ok since the thread was ambushed i am goignt o post about why i hate mvp and than i'm done.

After your done reading, dont rell me to adjust sliders to compensate for EA's mistakes, plus i only play online or againt frineds at home.

      1. OF run too slow, its unacceptable, tripples all the time

      2. IF, the throwing meter takes to long to fill up, preloading throw still dont make things much better, end result is fielders taking way to long to throw the ball. If you dont beleive me watch a rl baseball game and time it, it takes 1-2 seconds longer in MVP than in rl.

      3. Double plays are plane terrible, DP's are exciting in RL, they are a snooze in mvp.

      4. Pitcher meater is a joke, on allstar i am able to pitch with randy johson gor 15 innings consitantly and he still throws 95+. How you ask, becasue mvp pitching meter is broken, al long as you can get the meter in the green you will execute your pitch perfectly, all it takes is pratice and you can throw 95+ for ever, with the same pitcher... just keep getting it in the green.

      5. Hitting system is crazy, its a mixture beteween zone hitting and timing based, except its not. they could have just improved upone HH's hitting system but they simply added garbage to last years system. but, this sin't a magjor complaint like the ones above are.

I dont care about dynast or anything, i just focus on gameplay, and when fielders run too slow, take too long to throw, and you can have a starting pitcher pitcher forever and loose nothing on your pitchers (if your good enough) than you know you have problems.

BTW, i think ESPN will be bad as well, so i will rent it but i dont think i will be keeping a bb game this year as i have just tunred in MVP since owning it from release. Lol i didn't even talk about how sometimes the abll rolls past the feet of your fielder or how the cpu makes diving catches every other play...

No, that's not what happened. Let's just say he liked to talk about himself too much and caused some problems on the board from what I heard.

ESPN will also have sliders and I know they'll be utilized by most on this board including myself.

The reason for sliders aren't too fix EA's or SEGA's mistakes, but to groom the game to the individual user. We all play baseball games differently and sliders are there to tailor to our abilities.

You are more than entitled to your opinion, but to bash a game for certain things that can be fixed using sliders is kind of foolish IMO. To each their own I guess.....

Personaly i think sliders are an easy way out, but also i play online almost exclusivley, sliders dont get changed online so the point is moot.

The flaws i listed are simply that, flaws... i fail to see why soo many people continue to ignore them.
