Re: Two long time reviewers give their take on ESPN

I'm beginning to think last year's was better. Read the bug thread. And it definitely looks (graphically) bad. The thing of it is...I can't remember one console review that nailed the bugs that killed MVP for me..or mentioned the real shortcomings of most of the others. I'd say that across the board there just hasn't been any in-depth accurate baseball reviews. Make of that what you will. I blame deadlines and desire to be first in line for a web hit. I don't think OS even got the part about MVP's Dynasty right. Ah well, one thing I will say, if these low scores are primarily due to the fact that the players look a bit monsterish, then something is wrong. That's not my first concern.

Sorry - rushing out the door this morning, and didn't get a chance to read it.

Bill did a great job catching some of the issues in MVP, like leftys not hitting the ball as far, simmed player progression, etc.

Is this article concerning the bugs that seem to be cropping up in ESPN? Counts resetting? Runs scoring on a third out? Maybe he has fixes - I'd like to see what he has to say on that - I'll check it later.
