I got the game a couple hours ago and played right out of the box except for a couple superficial adjustments.

In the first game which was an exhibition between the Jays and Reds I saw what could definately be a glitch and something that might be a glitch but I dont' think so.

1st thing: I saw a wild pitch but it was by me. The pitch looked like a legit WP so I wasn't upset about it. I'll need more time (and patience at the plate) to see if it's truly a problem for me.

2nd Thing: I could be kidding myself but the game actually ended after 8 Inning! Again I could be dreaming that up but it seemed to have ended after 8. Anyone notice that?

Has anybody else had this happen? I've attempted to start a couple of franchises(with the Yankees and Mets) and each time I'll play the first game and win,then when I go back to the schedule,to the right it will show my record has being 1-0,but on the calendar it shows the game has not being played. It does it everytime I attempt to play a franchise mode.

And before someone says it,it's doing the same thing in GM Mode.

This is a definite game killer.

Has anybody else had this happen? That hasn't happened to me.

I did notice that Christian Guzman got injured for 68 days near the end of my last game and after the game I checked his status and his health is at 100%. That's pretty odd but i'm not complaining as he's doing a good job for me

That pic sort of illustrates the problem I have with the game. As you can see the accronyms TB and LA as well as the scoreline are not fitted properly into the box but "hang" maybe an inch below the proper place on the screen and it's like that with I'd say 80% of the in-game text. And a good chunk of the menu text as well which often cant be read anymore since it's black text that was supposed to be in a silver box but instead hovers over the dark blue background.

That is wild, I have no idea what would cause that. Have you tried the game on a different TV? Are your video settings in the dashboard correct? I'll be interested to see what it turns out to be.

I'd try it with another TV if it's like that still then it could be a defected disc.

Tried real hard to get into this again today. Won 10-8 in the ninth Tigers v Royals.

Winning pitcher was Jason Johnson (didnt pitch all game)

Losing pitcher was Jeremy Bonderman (uhhhhhh....)

Save goes to none other than Nook Logan, the CF on my AAA team.

And for the next day, the previous day's 121 pitch starter Mike Maroth is at 100%.

I've tried so so so so hard, because I hate MVP, but that makes it completely unplayable. I'm so pissed, I wanted this game so bad, but its only good for exhibition.

you and me both, brother! I finally got rid of MLB, succumbed to the dark side and bought MVP yesterday. Played a little and really don't like the graphics or the batting system. BUT...it's seemingly bug-free, so far. So, that automatically takes it leap years ahead of its competition.
