I've just been playing exhibition games... for those not seeing all the passed balls, are you playing in franchise mode or exhibition games? Not that there should be a difference, but I'm grasping at straws here.

Re: Official "Bugs"/"Glitches" Thread
I haven't seen anyone mention this so I will. GM mode, season one, late critical series between my Pads and the Dodgers, I decide to use my best available pitchers. I win games one and two using my #1 and #2 starters. Get to game 3 and to my surprise both my #1 and #2 starters are showing as 100% health and I'm allowed to start my #1 again on one day's rest with no visible penalty.
This is a HUGE issue if my experience is typical. Huge.
EDIT: For what it's worth, my #1 got shelled in the 5th, so perhaps he tired early on one day's rest. But his health should have been very low after a start.Last edited by mvandor; 02-26-2005, 03:10 PM.Comment

You're not the only one. I have to go back each time I load up my franchise and save the soundtrack, load my settings (which always get screwed up) and load the soundtrack. Then, if I'm lucky, it will play the songs during my games. I think it will only "save" the stuff outside of franchise mode. So, try to save on the main menu and see if it works.Originally posted by fldude2k1Can anyone help me out? I am having problems getting stadium music to work. Player music work ok. I am trying to set Boys of Summer to play during the beginning of the game but all I get is the default music they give. I went into to stadium soundtracks and went to intro and put it in there and unchecked all the original music and no luck. Any ideas? Its enormous! is this clown ball or baseball? - courtesy of m-dogg

I'm playing a franchise with the Yankees and see around two passed balls a game from the computer. Whenever I play exhibition I get the same results, so I don't think it makes a difference.Originally posted by bizarroI've just been playing exhibition games... for those not seeing all the passed balls, are you playing in franchise mode or exhibition games? Re: Official "Bugs"/"Glitches" Thread
Sorry if this has been posted already, but I'm pretty sure I just had a franchise game that didn't register. It was the opening day game between the White Sox and Indians. Played through the first game last night, won, saved, went to sleep. Just loaded the save file today and the game was played, because my record is 1-0 and Cleveland is 0-1, and Rowand's three homer game is shown on the around the league page, Buehrle's stats reflect his opening day start, yet the game is still on the schedule, Buehrle and Millwood in fine health and ready to play again. And if I sim the game out, it once again plays out the game, logs the stats, yet the game is still there on the schedule, ready to be played again. I thought maybe it was a corrupt save file, but I had a seperate save that I made before playing that game, and if I load that one and sim the game out, the same thing happens, game is recorded, but on the schedule it's there to be played again. Anyone else seen this?Comment

Hmm, I'm through 15 games of my franchise and none of my hitters are tired at all. Anyone else having this problem?Originally posted by mvandorI haven't seen anyone mention this so I will. Re: Official "Bugs"/"Glitches" Thread
More info. Try this. (using default rosters, not sure if that's makes a difference. It shouldn't.) Start a franchise. Just let the cpu auto select your staff. Save. Sim the first game. Quit without saving. Reload the save file. Sim again. Notice how the schedule doesn't show the game being played, yet your stats do? It looks like it has something to do with simming your opening day game, but it's weird that it happens even if you don't save after doing so. Can someone test this real quick and see if they can replicate it so I know I'm not crazy?
