this isn't a first year title though ? They took a previous ( espn major league baseball) game and broke some things down/built on other pre-existing aspects of the game.

It's the first year they have the title, but not the first year of this game. They actually removed some features many wish they hadn't (strike zone option, confidence option, etc).

Doesn't change the fact that this isn't a first year game. It needs a serious amount of work to be worthy of what I'm sure will be a 49 dollar pricetag next year. Otherwise I simply update rosters on MVP.
                NFL: Patriots
                MLB: Red Sox

If you have to ask, you're playing on a 27" or less conventional TV. Anyone with a larger HDTV would understand right away by this comment. The larger the screen the more pronounced any jaggies appear. What you barely notice on a 27" or smaller set is IN YOUR FACE on a big screen and becomes a significant annoyance and source of eye strain as a result.

i half understand the "first year argument" with Kush, but not when it comes to one very large pronounced bug (passed balls) and a third title from the same dev with freezing problems. Those are rookie dev mistakes. This ISN'T Kush's first game, and the freezing problem is something they still haven't mastered after 3 attempts at it now (2 with the other 2k5 games they did ).

Anyway, i'm not trying to turn this into a bashing argument. I'm not trading in my game or declaring an undying love for any other company now. I never understand why people do that. I'm just not happy that they seem to be very sloppy in some areas, and to be honest, i start to wonder if this at all is related to the price tag and them feeling they can get away with more if it's a cheaper game. Maybe that's just a theory and an incorrect one, but i'm running out of excuses for sloppy coding and a lack of in depth game testing.
