Re: There's no excuse for freezing by now Kush
Maybe some Xbox's are faulty, but for these games to freeze up on alot of people is unexcusable. The threads were all over the place. I had a new Xbox for NHL and CHOOPs 2k5 and freezes made really good games unplayable. The quality must improve in order for a company like this to thrive.Originally posted by poweredbyevilFormerly Favre4vr -

I had a launch day box and certain games started freezing all the time (NHL 2k3 for one). Then I couldn't use custom soundtracks. As soon as I got a new Xbox (thank you, warranty!) those same games worked just fine. I guarantee(sic?) if you got a new xbox or took those same games over to a friends house that has a newer xbox, those games wouldn't freeze up. I have yet to have ANY game freeze up- VC, Kush or otherwise. Maybe you should check the manufacturers date on those xboxes.Formerly Favre4vrComment

Re: There's no excuse for freezing by now Kush
i respect your opinion, but i gotta tell ya, you are wrong about this one. There are far too many people out there who have had this problem ONLY with games in the 2k series. Also, in my initial post i had said that the same thing happens on two different Xbox's (launch day one and another one bought new a few months ago that does NOT have the thompson drive). It's not only on this board. 'm a member of two different other boards and one of them is basically ONLY for hockey in the 2k series (no EA). Even the people there were up in arms about the amounts of freezing that occurs regardless of which Xbox it is, what settings are being used, and what ever else variables that each user differs over the next.Originally posted by poweredbyevilDon't blame the game developer for a faulty Xbox drive. I hate to tell ya, but it's Kush, not everyone's Xbox really. Ir's only with the 2k series that these problems ever occur for most people. That right there has to tell ya something.

Same here but the only 2 games that are actually at fault, is Hoops and NHL 2k5. The rest haven't had mass-problems with freezing.Originally posted by MrcaboneI have ESPN Football,Basketball and Baseball and none of my games have ever froze on me,maybe I'm just lucky.Comment

Did you bother reading the posts before your's? I'm really wonder that, because the other poster(s) stated CLEARLY that they had no problems with games other than those 2K games, and that my friend logically says that it's not a faulty XBox.Originally posted by poweredbyevilDon't blame the game developer for a faulty Xbox drive. Re: There's no excuse for freezing by now Kush
I do not have a problem with freezing but there are certainly enough other glaring glitches with the 2k games to come to a conclusion that the reason they were able to put these out for 19.99 is because they cut the bug testing portion of development. I certainly prefer the 2k sports titles and purchased all except for MLB, purchased MVP instead but I certainly noticed quite a few bugs in NFL2k5.Comment
