There's no excuse for freezing by now Kush

okay, take this for what it's worth. I'll preface this by saying i enjoy this game a lot. I really do. I played MVP and just cant get into it. I'm just hoping Kush patches the passed ball/wild pitch problem. Anyway back on topic.

The thing there really is no excuse for is the idea that this game still freezes. It would be excusable if this was a first game they've developed with this problem. However, EVERY game they develop has this problem. It happens a ton in NHL2k5, has happened previously in nfl2k5 (think they might have been a diff company though for that one ) , and happens in CH2k5. Now it's here as well.

I'm getting tired of it beacuse by now, they've released enough games to work out this problem. It really is one of the only companies that i know of with a freezing problem this serious that it plagues every game in their lineup. There really is nothing more frustrating that spending 30 minutes getting into the 8th inning only to have it freeze in an animation. I know other's have this problem as well, and its' certainly becoming the trademark of the company. Not good.

Anyway, please understand something before anyone gets upset at me or defensive. I....do..like.....this.......game despite it's problems. I'm not going to return it, not am i going to threaten any boycotts. I'm just shocked how every game this company seems to put out has this same issue. It's actually getting to be the little tidbit at the end of jokes now when i hear people say "oh, u like the 2k5 series? Have fun with the freezing".

Anyway, rant over and thanks for listening.

It annoys me too really with game freezes period. Do you have an old XBOX and is it just VC games you have trouble with? Because my XBOX is old (December 2001) and NHL 2k5 froze during simulation along with College Hoops 2k5. But so far I've had no problems with MLB 2k5. *crosses fingers*

well, i've had two xbox's and the same thing has happened with both of them. It's only this company's games though, yes. If it was other companies as well, then i would think it's my Xbox but as i've said, it's only with the 2k series games.

Don't blame the game developer for a faulty Xbox drive. I had a launch day box and certain games started freezing all the time (NHL 2k3 for one). Then I couldn't use custom soundtracks. As soon as I got a new Xbox (thank you, warranty!) those same games worked just fine. I guarantee(sic?) if you got a new xbox or took those same games over to a friends house that has a newer xbox, those games wouldn't freeze up. I have yet to have ANY game freeze up- VC, Kush or otherwise. Maybe you should check the manufacturers date on those xboxes.

Wrong. Both NHL 2k5 and College Hoops 2k5 froze because of a bug in the game. Now MLB 2k5 is a different story.

It's a combination of both...sometimes when someone posts to complain it is their dvd drive and other times it is the fault of the game.

Haven't had any freezing yet, hopefully I wont encounter this problem. I feel you though as I can't stand the freezing in CH2k5.

Yeah I know, I was just saying in the case of College Hoops and NHL it was the game's fault.
