has anyone been able to figure out just what exactly the cpu and human fielder aggresion slider is for, it can't be just about fielders colliding with each other.

      Hey Big,

what settings would you use if I do not want baserunning speed burst on (or fielder burst).

I hate having to hit "A" to run fast...so what would be a good baserunner setting?

      thanks for the sliders.

BigRoc, im also using legend sliders but wanted to know how you are circumventing the "cannon arms" Im getting good results..Just lost 3 games in a row..Last game against the Royals and the frist 2 games of my series at Minnesota...Im struggling now but I am enjoying this game!!!

          Re: BIGFNJOE'S MLB 2K6 360 Sliders

I have been using your Legend sliders. I'm sure this topic has been beaten to death, but does it really make a difference where you start your sliders? I am having a hard time believing this - I have yet to experiment with the "pro" sliders as of this point. I'm just asking why we all think this makes a big difference - if there is supporting evidence, please point me in that direction. Not trying to be difficult, just asking for clarification - thank you.

Wanted to report my experiences thus far. As noted, been using your legend sliders and really like them for the most part. I think the offense is tapped a bit too high for me - I am giving up double digit hits and getting double digit hits each game (7 games played thus far). But teams seem to be extremely competitive with these. I'm not getting too many extra base hits other than HR - and that usually because I guess FB and do a power swing.

          My last game:

          Mets @ Dodgers (me)

          R H E
          6 15 1
          5 15 0

Had a 2-0 lead heading into the 9th. Gagne comes in and gives up 3 runs off the bat. Brazo comes in and gives up another 3 runs. Head to bottom half with Alomar (Defensive replacement by CPU - Little was kicked out for arguing) leading off. First pitch pop up to 2B. Next batter Ledee (PH) singles to CF. Furcal lines out to CF - 2 down. Lofton singles to CF. Normally Drew would bat, but the CPU decides to PH with Werth because Wagner is in - I'm not pleased with this decision. I'm guessing FB first pitch and I guess correctly - Werth hits a bomb to right-center for a 3 run HR to make it a one run game. GENIUS MOVE!! Now Kento comes to the plate and has already homered in this game. He sees a first pitch FB and lines out to 2B. Great game by both clubs - although I would have left Lowe in for a bit longer, but again, all my moves were made by CPU.

Again, great sliders - I'm having a blast with them. I think I might lower contact for both team and keep power the same!

            Re: BIGFNJOE'S MLB 2K6 360 Sliders

Hey guys.... Just got back home from a work related trip. WOW I see you guys have really been helping each other out in my abscense... Good Job to all those who did this. I will look more @ the thread tomorrow.

As for the Fielder Speed & Aggresion Slider. The Aggresion Slider last year effected how agressive the route a player takes to the ball. This year IMO these sliders have been over-programmed. Even with these sliders @ 0 the players still run too fast & take aggresive angles on the ball.

The only way to fix this is by Editing Players. I'm glad to see people are enjoying the slider sets "WE" have developed. I say "WE" because I might have created a base, but you guys helped me tweak them.

Keep-up the feedback & I'll keep tweaking

So are you gonna make a revised version based on all the help stirred up in this thread? That would be sick, and easy for me to collect. Also... if anyone could get these on a Transfer Kit, and on the CPU as a zip, that would be even easier... God! I'm lazy.

I'm not sure if any tweaks really need to be made. Other than that the sliders seem to work pretty good.

*EDIT* Not sure what's going-on but I cannot edit my 1st post to update the sliders. Here are the changes people should implement:

CPU & Human Aggresion Slider-0(Both Legend & Pro) CPU Fielder Speed-0(Both Legend & Pro)

CPU Skill-80 CPU Contact-53 CPU Power-48 Sliders (Pro Realism) should address lack of CPU Offense

There's no reason to start all over 2 games into your chise. Make the appropiate changes & continue you chise.

Joe, wonderful sliders. I am getting lots of varied game results, and other than obviously walks, which I don't think can be fixed in this game, my numbers looks pretty good. They are at the very least in the realm of reality, and that's all I am looking for.

                        Well done.

Agreed. I'm loving these sliders as well, except I can't walk anyone or be walked. I don't know if walks can be fixed either.

There is a walking problem in this game???

No!!!!!!!!!! I haven't played it yet, but geesh, Baseball games can never seem to get this damn aspect correct. How hard is it to incoporate something like walks into the game a little more.

I think the problem with walks is related to the CPU hitters swinging at pitches outside the strike zone too often and when the timing is off on the payoff pitching the pitch ends up inside the strike more often than outside. Altlhough I do not throw very many if any walks, the CPU pitchers are throwing balls and walks.

That has usually been the problem though... lately in recent games like MVP Baseball 2005 I was able to draw an average of 3-4 walks a game on the CPU... pretty darn realistic... but giving up walks was another story. I averaged around .5-1.5 per game... Thats not good.
