    Joe,

I played the Opening Day with the Reds, and the game was played until it was rained out in 5th inning with a 4-0 loss to the Cubs. The legend sliders, I would say almost perfect..but maybe need some work on the CPU pitching to get more balls called. Also, maybe lower the CPU baserunning speed because the Cubs got 2 triples after hitting to the center right and left. It looked more like doubles to me. Overall, the sliders you got are off to a good start!

Thanks Joe for the hard work you are putting into the sliders. Liking them...Howver i do have a question..Have you hit a HR by just pulling back on the swing stick and letting go or do you push up on the stick as well..I guess my question is is it possible to hit a hr with just a "contact" swing?

Joe I really like how ur sliders are playing for me. I had to raise contact a little for me because i tend to be impatient and swing at pitches that are a mile away. It's funny cause I have been hit quite a few times but it went as a strike b/c I swung. It's a little off topic but do u have any tips on being a little less agressive and working the count......I watch baseball alot but am not a baseball genius

I did tonight for the first time, with Vinny Castilla off of Claudio Vargas.

Is everyone using the "Pro Realism Sliders". Im using the Legend sliders since I like the challenge and would like to know who is using them as well. Also if you are using them what are some of your results?

                  Re: BIGFNJOE'S MLB 2K6 360 Sliders

Joe, great job on the sliders. Big fan last year and this year is no different. Actually the funny thing is I was such a big fan of last years sliders I am using your 360 sliders on my regular xbox and they work perfect. Bringing down the contact and power to 18 and 23 was perfect. Couple of quick questions for Joe or anyone:

                  - Getting a good # of walks on the CPU Which of the pitching sliders should I tweak to get less walks ( getting about 10-12 on avg. right now)

                  - Not a slider question but hopefully someone can help! How do I get my fielders to throw the ball quicker....release the ball Everytime my SS 2nd baseman pick up a ball it takes forever to get it out of glove. I have tried pulling the Right trigger, holding down the button to the base I am throwing to(as the video says) I am losing games because the CPU is beating out sooo many infield hits.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.....I am actually in the minority, I am loving this game right now, just need my infielders to throw some of these guys out.

Keep up the good work Joe

after u begin a season or franchise, go to the load screen and load up settings u saved with these sliders. then they will be loaded in ur franchise. then save ur franchise and the diff will be set to the sliders.

i average 2 or 3 walks per game using the legend slider set. get ur timing down on the step, which i step on every pitch. then just wait to see how it looks...if it looks like a strike, swing away, if it looks out, hold up. its more about learning to eyeball the pitch and movement.

BigJoe, you have to check out the game i just played. Depleted my bench and the pitchers had too start getting at bats.

I'm thinking I need to try the legend setting sliders. I'm using the pro ones right now and I'm still killing the competition. I'm 6-0 and in my last game against the Marlins, Pedro struck out 17, Beltran had a Grand Slam, and 2 other guys homered. In a game before that, Delgado had 3 homers in one game. Not too realistic to me.

I played that 17 inn. game using Pro Sliders, human/cpu field aggression at 0, human/cpu fielder speed at 0, and AI throwing aggression at 0.
                              human/cpu batting contact - 23
                              human/cpu batter power - 18

and adjusted human/cpu pitching sliders for walks/strikeouts for my preference.
