I'm pretty sure that's an achievement that you must get on Pro difficulty or higher. No slider tweaks. There are 3 achievements like that, but I can't recall what 3 they were. All of them state in the wording that they must be achieved on Pro difficulty or higher though.

Re: Creating **The 'PERFECT' Slider Set**
nnng, do you get a realistic amount of foul balls per game? If so, what are you doing? I hardly get any. I had one at bat a while back where the CPU batter fouled off about 5 in a row and I got really excited, but I hardly got anymore foul balls since lolComment

Re: Creating **The 'PERFECT' Slider Set**
BigL I'd say that I get perhaps 3 foul balls per half inning. That would be 3 each inning when I pitch and 3 more when I bat.
I know that is below MLB average and I am still tinkering with turning contact further down, which marginally increases foul balls, noticeably increases swing-and-misses, and vastly decreases balls put in the field of play.
At 30 for contact I get the aforementioned 3 foul balls hitting. With the CPU contact at 45, I get about the same --perhaps sacrificing a couple foul balls off the real MLB average-- with the goal of creating realistic strikeout totals.Comment

The Perfect Slider Set - Final Version - Max Difficulty
For those looking for the newest edit to the max difficulty sliders, I have completed what I believe to be [for now at least lol] the final version of the max difficulty slider set. I have had these ready for two days now but delayed posting them to get a good feel of how they play out, and I am now very happy with where they are. They are season- or franchise- ready for those looking to start with the hardest settings possible but with realism still as the backbone. GOOD LUCK!

Re: Creating **The 'PERFECT' Slider Set**
Ummm can you try out the slider set that this thread is based on before badmouthing people's efforts?
Each set is for individual difficulty. X-Cell's is fine-tuned to work perfectly for him. Obviously it won't be the same for everyone. Apparently his set doesn't work for you.
Well try something else. Try one of the two sets I've posted in this thread. See if that works. Try other people's sets. Or start with one of these sets and tweak it to your liking.
But just because you happened to strike 16 Braves batters out (that got perfect gamed by a 40-year old a couple years ago, mind you), and you did it with the most consistantly dominant NL pitcher of the last five years, it doesn't mean that someone's slider set is 'getting crazy'.Comment

Re: Creating **The 'PERFECT' Slider Set**
Williamz, try the sliders I just posted. If you don't consider yourself 'advanced' enough, tune down some of the AI settings like SKILL, or you PITCHER EFFECTIVENESS MOD, and then adjust your contact/power according to how you play.
If you have played 50+ 2K7 games, try the sliders as I've posted them and let me know if you can still strike out the CPU 15 times.
EDIT: Just so it doesn't get lost, I'm reposting this here.

Re: Creating **The 'PERFECT' Slider Set**
Hey nnng, my sliders are producing the same game for me over and over again, scoreless through the first 3 innings, then bam, the cpu hits a homerun or two. I'm going to give these a go, before I do though, is step influence supposed to be at 10 or 100? It's harder to hit at 100 right?Comment

Re: Creating **The 'PERFECT' Slider Set**
Now, I don't suggest putting this setting at 0 for most gamers. That will not create the most realistic gameplay if you do not have a lot of experience with 2K7 (unless you call getting shelled all day realistic). So before you set it all the way down to 0, start warming up your relievers. :wink:Comment

Re: Creating **The 'PERFECT' Slider Set**
The "new" set that you posted are unrealistic in my opinion. I played about 5 games with them over the weekend and the cpu hits way too many hrs. Last night I was the Reds vs the Brewers and the Brew Crew hit 9 hrs off of me. I was dominating with your other sliders 10-1 in my season with the Reds but with these I can not pitch at all.ND Season Ticket Holder since '72.Comment
