Thanks man, I'll check them out then. Swing stick is frustrating me a little at the moment. I might go back to it later on.

Hey nnng, I'm having one issue. With batting power at 10, not pushing up on the swing stick, I hit consistent doubles, if I lower it to 0-5, do you think I'll hit any homers not pushing up on the stick?

couple mofre q's what about player and inning highlights do they effect the day to night transition? do you have them on or off? and also catcher view on or off when throwing out baserunners because i want to know what works best ist or third person. and finally for the strike zone i have it on for batter and off for pitcher because i like to see the strike zone when im hitting since im not very good at hitting yet. so what is your setting for that? thanks nnng.

Turn off at least player highlights, it does effect night transition. I keep catcher view off, so I just throw like normal. I haven't really adapted to looking through the mask thing, but it looks pretty neat, just haven't given it a chance. I turn off strike zone completely, it's more sim like to me.

HighHeat: Just played my first game with nnng's settings and hit 5 hrs with the Yankees on 3-0 counts hitting up. With your "tweaked settings," I was not hititng that many HRs. Any chance you are going to tweak your sliders for non-swing stick. You stated you were having issues with the swing stick. What kind of issues are you having. Still enjoying your sliders settings, although I am getting killed with my 4th and 5th starters.

I hit way too many doubles... and I just scrapped my sliders and went for nnng07's since his seems to be the better one.

              Still... too many doubles...

Hey man, no I'm sticking with the swing stick. I tried classic hitting and it feels like I'm playing Nintendo all over again. The swing stick is so much more realistic. I think the reason you weren't hitting as many with mine, is that i have AI overall throwing strikes at 40, throwing ahead at 40, and throwing behind at 50, therefore I've only get an average of two to three 3-0 counts a game. I also think the step influence needs to be 5 like nnng has it, as it has a factor on your timing when you swing. I think the higher it is, the easier it is to hit the ball. I've also tinkered with the AI batting and taking strikes/balls, now the AI takes more and they aren't scoring all their runs off of homers. I'm updating them now. I'll post them in my HH's tweaked sliders section. Thanks again nnng for a really great base set for my sliders.

I think it varies game to game. There will be games with nnng's settings I hit more doubles than anything else, then I'll have games like the one I just played and had 5 singles and only 1 double. I'd lower the batting power to 0, but then I'm afraid of not hitting homers. I really believe the higher the batting contact, it will take this away, but then you hardly ever strike out.

nnng i really have to thank you because i quit my chise to make some settings adjustments and i just played another great game royals vs yanks. i was the royals and lost 6-5. great game. de la rosa vs igawa. igawa gave up 5 runs in 4 and 1/3 with 8 hits and 4 k's and 2 walks. de la rosa on 105 pitches in 5 2/3 gave up 5 runs 4 earned with 4 k's and a walk and 7 hits including a 3 run dinger from a rod. i got hr's from sweeney and tehan. sweeney was a beast he went 4-4 with 3 doubles and a jack. i had 11 hits the yanks had 10. soria had the bases loaded with nobody out in the 8th and gave up the go ahead run with mariano coming on getting the save. i thought these were getting to easy but they're not. i tried the ones your using for your chise and they were way to hard for me cpu hits like madmen. so i will stick with these for a while as they are great for me. thanks nnng i keep wanting to put this game away but just can't do it because of you lol.

Hey nnng.. I tried out your new slider set with the CPU Power at 65. Are you fiding that you're giving up too many bombs with that setting? It seemed that even on occasions when I would make the perfect pitch, they'd hit out out of the park. With your old slider set with the power on 50 I was tossing shutouts. Seems a bit weird to me.

I just placed your sliders on my game to start the new franchise and hit save in each screen, yet when I began the first franchise game I still had the old slider set I was using. How can I fix this? Do I have to start a new franchise?

Hey man, I'm using the Orioles. Just restarted my season, moved contact back to 45 for the AI. I think it plays a great game. I also moved all my AI take balls/strikes/overall sliders up, now I can pitch 90+ pitches in 6 or 7 innings with my starters.
