With it at 0, in the replays it looks like they are running in place for the first few steps. But now with it at 10, its a nice smooth start.

    I got triples with the sliders at 0 and triples are not that common, alot has to happen for a runner with normal speed to get one, and for a fast runner he still needs the ball to be hit somewhere that the outfielder has a way to go.

    What your schedule like on Sunday maybe we can hookup online and tweak from there. This way we can nail alot while we play and anaylze and get this complete for the commmunity, as far as getting the player sliders and AI general sliders.

      Tyrant I would love to play online and get these finished but I will be out all day on sunday I have 2 parties to go to. But I think I'm close to being finished with these, I have tweaked them to death now. I do have 4 changes that I think could get these almost finished they are below

      Step Influence
      Pitcher Difficulty

      AI Pitcher Difficulty
      Effectiveness Mod

      I have taken away the changes since I was not happy with them, these seem to be the last 4 sliders that I'm messing with still. I'm hoping to have some final numbers up by tuesday night since I am leaving for a much needed vacation on wednesday morning.

        Another question from the newbie. Does it matterwhat settings you use for control settings, game settings, and presentation. Will these work with classic and swing stick? How about zone pitching? Thanks again for all the help you guys are providing.

          Dan is using Swing iam using Classic. It can vary. What are u using?

          Now for what u decide to do with control settings and game settings its pretty much preference so your cool to do what you like.

          I personally love Zone or zone 2 interface. They are pretty much the same. I play with Zone 2, and I dont use a strike zone. I like my interface clean. I also never use the hitters eyes. The fact that its telling you where the pitch is going during the pitchers whind up is so not true to the sports. I like being natural about it and look for a ball in a certain spot on my own to catch it.

          Also since the game is extremely HR friendly it very important , wether your using the classic or swing stick, to just do contact swings. Its pretty much the only way to calm it down. If your using Classic just hit the A button when u want to swing. Never touch the left anonlg stick, and with Swing stick. Just pull the stick down and when the pitch is thrown just release the stick. Both of those methods provide just contact swings, and yes u can still get HRs.

            Okay guys I have been in hiding the last few days finishing up these sliders. I have changed my stance on a few of them and they play a realistic game of baseball. I dont know how much more I can tweak these since I have tested the sliders every which way I could. I have now settled on these over the last 10 or so games and I haven't touched them at all during that time. Thats a first for me with any sliders I have tried this year. I would like to thank Mman, Tyrant and Soccerluv for their tireless testing and help. Also Sleepy, Highheat and RBoSox (2k forums) for there ideas that I have used in this slider set.               Dan and Tyrant. I officially gave up on the slider testing crap. Being that i've read a post about not putting sliders at 100 or 0 and that the games default level is pro, with majority of sliders at 50. I have decided to put every slider at 50. This is how i'll be playing and once you see stats on my dynasty page, that means i have started and you can keep up with how i progress by clicking the link in my sig. We'll then see if attributes are the way the gameplay is coded or if it still plays on sliders. You guys keep me informed of your take on the 50 settings.

              I appreciated your guys help and the thought you put in behind the 50 slider vs. attribute ordeal. Follow my dynasty and we'll find out together.

                I hear u homie.

                Same here. We are all different in our coordination so what works for us is different for others. What Iam going to do is list all the sliders in my own difficulty level of play and let them choose from 1 of the 4.

                After that there is nothing else we can do. The game is what it is.

                I have something that is very unpredicatable with AI hitting. I can catch them looking , swinging at strikes but at the sametime they are hitting solid, weak , and jumping on my mistakes. Its pretty cool.
