been waiting all day for these, I got my rosters updated with the manual rosters and now a new slider set to start my franchise with. If only I could get the right pitching deliveries for Joba Chamberlain, Phillip Hughes, and Ian Kennedy. If anyone knows these I need them cause I want my franchise is as realistic as possible and these sliders and my rosters are at the head of those priorities!

bro what i would do is go on youtube..and analyze their deliveries...i do think kennedy is like mike mussina..especially out of the stretch so just use that for him...Joba i would think Joe Blanton they remind me of eachother, but hey just my opinion..hughes I would look that one up

i like these sliders, but the cpu just seems to string hits together at times. i havent been able to hold the cpu under 7 hits in any game ive played with these, and usually i get crushed for like 10+. i dont know, maybe i suck at pitching.

well 7 hits a game is what teams in real life get keep in mind that means at least you held two people hitless which is pretty good. How many runs do you give up a game? I only give about 3-5 hits a game with my ace and maybe 7-12 with my 3-5 starters.

i just had a good game, gave up 6 runs on 11 hits to the astros while scoring 12 on 15 with the cards. it was kind of a homer fest though. i had 4 and they had 3. (one of mine was a 322 ft crawford box bloop shot).

im in the middle of a game vs the stros. its the 6th, and there has already been 6 homers. 2 solo shots by glaus and ankiel, and 4 solo shots by bourn, matsui, pence, and berkman. i lowered the power sliders by 10 each because the hrs are ridiculous

Good Morning everyone..

In reference to setting the Sliders, ulua is correct. Don't set every slider to 0 & then begin setting them. Do each Slider 1 by 1 ()

How I did it was any slider that was less than 50, I started setting the slider from 0. Any slider that was more 50 I starting setting the slider from 100. If you do it this way everything will be correct & it will say CUSTOM-A @ the top.

Yeah I just did all that and it still said CUSTOM-P. Wierd. I just went ahead and lowered human and cpu errors a little and it went back up to CUSTOM-A. So I'll go ahead and leave it like that. Thanks for the work though guys. I'm about to test these and see how it goes.

did you default you sliders before adjusting them?

I have updated my 1 st post, with the correct instructions on how to set the sliders & get them to stay @ CUSTOM-A when your done. For those who are seeing too many HR's I suggest lowering the Power Slider to your liking.

Also for those who feel the AI is getting too many hits, I suggest lowering the AI Contact Slider & see what happens

Hi big thanks for all your help on these sliders. I used your sliders last year for 2k7 and they were great. Ok I tried your sliders they are pretty good. I had to lower AI power though. AI were getting to many home runs and lowered contact as well as they were getting to many doubles. Also every pitch I seem to throw near the stike zone they swing at and make contact with the ball. On the AI pitching very rarely do I get a ball thrown. Now I only played 4 innings with your sliders but out of 40 pitches the AI threw only 4 balls and I am a patient hitter. My question is before you made the new slider thread. I LOVED YOUR OLD SLIDERS. I was getting great pitch counts, walks and everything. Do you happen to have your old sliders before you came out with the new one????Thanks for your help.

Might wanna give these about 5-7 games as the games will vary trust me. As for my Old Sliders, due you mean 2k7 or the 1st set of 2k8 Sliders I created?

Hi BFJ, No I meant the first set of slider for 2k8. The last revised ones, not the ones you have up now. Do you still have them? Thanks Man!
