Hey Joe- Nice patch 2 sliders! I use the Pirates most of the time and just beat the cards 1-0 in 9 innings. There were no hard hits or HR's by anyone the entire game though. What do you suggest to improve this? Neither me nor the cpu had an extra base hit either.

What is your thought on using default all star settings but with your pitching settings?

Downloaded the patch sliders this morning and gave it a go with the mets. I am not going to go bananas and post all the numbers, but basically lost 6-1 with santana giving up a couple of untimely home runs, an unintentional walk and a two run single.

My offense consisted of a single, stolen base, sac to third and a sac fly to score (nice to see that actually works now). I had a smattering of singles and a double with the catcher but other than that nothing close to the wall or warning track. Like joe says though, give the game a chance and I should see some variation.

I am a bit concerned about the pitching though. I didnt feel I had nearly as much control or break as before. Which sliders are affecting me the most. I feel my gesture is fine, but release timing? Can that be lowered? Should I increase the break on my pitches? If I am struggling a bit with Santana, cant imagine what the rest of my cast will do...

Thanks for any advice (hr's should come, right)?

If your having some troubles lower the Gesture Slider & up the Timing Sliders. Try 60 Gesture/ 40 Timing. As for Break, up that Slider also til you get the results wanted

If you are having trouble with pitching control, I think you would want to lower the Gesture slider instead of turning it up, right Joe? The higher you turn it up, the more accurate you have to be with the right stick motions and the less control your pitches will have if you mess up, and the more likely the AI will be to hack at your pitches if you mess up the motion as well.

can somebody please explain the hold timing influence slider? That sounds to me like something involved with the three-step pitching from last season. I see Joe has his set at 30, I see others set it at 0...unsure what effect this has?

I adjust the Batting Success's number 100
Batting Contact and Batting Power's number are 5
but AVG and SLG are still higher(20 Hits，include 9-2B 3-HR)
I try to adjust Batting Contact's number 100 and Batting Success 5
It was evident that AVG and SLG decrease plenty (8 Hits，all of 1B)
I thought Batting Success that is a decision (AVG and SLG)

I can't feel the influence
and Gesture Recognition 0 or 100 is this

some people consider that it concern movement

the pitch control can't control well when ball's grade was worse
is this Pitch Rating Influence's function?

The gesture doesn't matter for classic, but the timing probably does.

I would think Timing & Release is more for Classic. Forget Gesture as that really seems to work with Total Control Pitching
